00:00 What's up GQ, it's Lil Tecca and these are my essentials.
00:02 ♪ You will be ♪
00:04 (upbeat music)
00:06 Now this is one of my main essentials.
00:11 This is my lyric book.
00:12 I wrote most of my last album in here.
00:14 A lot of the times when I write songs,
00:16 I like to think about what I'm going through
00:19 and it's real personal to me.
00:20 So it's not like putting it in my phone notes.
00:22 When I write it down, I don't gotta show nobody.
00:24 No one can hack that.
00:25 No one could find out about it.
00:26 I could write anything in here.
00:27 I even write lyrics in here when I don't have a beat,
00:29 when I'm not in the studio.
00:30 So I like to keep it on me all the time.
00:32 I never know when I might just like
00:33 think of some random lines I gotta get down somewhere.
00:36 This is actually my first time
00:37 like buying a book designated for an album.
00:41 So looking forward, I'm probably gonna do one every album,
00:44 like a book every album.
00:45 'Cause after I finished my album,
00:46 I ain't even gonna touch this.
00:48 I'm probably gonna put this in like a glass case
00:50 and hang it up on my wall.
00:51 (upbeat music)
00:53 This right here is so essential.
00:55 This is a Chrome Hearts bag.
00:56 So, so, so essential and this is my bag.
00:59 I don't leave the house without it.
01:01 I don't leave my room without it.
01:03 Ever since I got this bag,
01:04 I just been carrying it with me everywhere.
01:05 You can ask me for anything, it's probably in this bag.
01:09 Also, this is my Chrome Hearts wallet chain,
01:11 which is also very, very essential.
01:13 I lose stuff a lot.
01:15 So I like to have clipped onto my pants all the time.
01:18 I don't leave the house without it.
01:19 People offer me different types of money for this
01:22 and I'm never selling it, ever.
01:24 Don't even offer no more.
01:28 If you don't know about this, like I said,
01:30 I do not trust you at all.
01:31 My favorite games on here is probably Midnight Club,
01:35 B-Boy, Jackass, Rainbow Six Siege, SoCalm,
01:40 but Midnight Club especially.
01:42 I gotta talk about Midnight Club.
01:43 If you know about that game,
01:44 especially the soundtrack of that game,
01:46 I grew up on these.
01:48 This is probably like my seventh PSP.
01:49 I used to break these all the time.
01:51 Little bit last year,
01:53 I was just playing my PSP before the shows.
01:55 It was very like common.
01:57 Roasting each other is a very big part of like Xbox culture.
02:02 And if you know about them game chats,
02:04 you know how it can get.
02:06 We're not even gonna talk about that on here.
02:08 Y'all can do y'all own researches for that.
02:09 Roasting people through ramen was just another outlet
02:12 of just flaming them, like,
02:14 just had to flame them and I'm like, oh shit.
02:16 I could probably do this on beats too.
02:19 So I found this app on an app store called BandLab,
02:22 started downloading YouTube beats,
02:23 put it up in BandLab,
02:25 Apple headphones behind the pop filter,
02:27 going crazy.
02:28 Now this right here, super essential.
02:32 It's just another part of the swag.
02:34 I always keep one on me.
02:35 I got it on me right now.
02:37 This is just extra.
02:38 I'm on my rainbow swag right now.
02:39 It's just me versus everybody.
02:40 Like, I don't know.
02:42 I'm just in that mode.
02:43 Accessories are real big to me.
02:44 So adding stuff besides just a shirt, pants and boots,
02:48 it's real important to like finishing the look for me
02:50 and making it look full.
02:52 (upbeat music)
02:55 This is my laptop and this is all my phones.
02:58 I'm gonna get into the laptop because this is like my life.
03:00 This is like, this is everything.
03:03 Like this is where my FL studio is at,
03:05 my Pro Tools at.
03:06 I record all my songs on here.
03:08 I make all my beats on here.
03:09 I edit videos on here.
03:12 Like this is, this is, this is everything.
03:14 This is like, this is tech for real.
03:16 Like this is tech, like in digital form.
03:18 If I lose this right here, I lose everything.
03:22 So I keep it on me.
03:23 I don't even want it in the house,
03:25 even if I'm not in the house.
03:26 This is my main phone.
03:27 This is like what I call all my friends on, FaceTime,
03:30 take my flicks on most of the time.
03:32 This was my old personal phone.
03:34 This phone, it's cracks falling off right now.
03:38 This phone been through it and back.
03:39 I still use this to this day sometimes
03:41 'cause it got like some of my music
03:42 that I don't, got on this phone on it.
03:44 These two is cameras.
03:45 And this one kind of been through it too.
03:47 I don't like getting phones fixed.
03:48 I don't know why.
03:49 I feel like it's, breaks it more.
03:51 Every time I got a friend that get they phone fixed,
03:53 they come back to me like,
03:54 "Bro, my screen not working,
03:56 "two weeks later, all this other stuff."
03:57 Like, I'm not with it.
03:58 So I just keep it broken.
03:59 And we still here.
04:02 (upbeat music)
04:04 I'm always in the studio.
04:06 I'm always on my feet.
04:07 So when I'm rocking these uncomfortable shoes,
04:10 I like to just change it to something more comfortable
04:12 and just, like I said, keep it stylish.
04:16 Everything I got on me is stylish.
04:18 You see I'm wearing these.
04:21 After like four or five hours, six, seven hours,
04:24 you're gonna wanna change into these.
04:26 When I get dressed, it definitely depends on how I feel.
04:29 Sometimes I wake up and I just don't even care.
04:31 I might just wear sweats all day.
04:32 But sometimes I might wanna switch it up a little bit.
04:35 Sometimes I don't even care if I'm comfortable.
04:37 I might wear something uncomfortable just 'cause it's fly.
04:39 Clothes actually makes me feel a way.
04:42 Like I remember going to uniform school.
04:44 On those Fridays when they used to let us wear
04:46 what we wanted, I used to act different on those Fridays.
04:49 For real.
04:51 So that's what really made me fall in love with clothes
04:53 'cause I'm like, when I get to choose what I'm wearing
04:55 and I actually like it, it's just another expression
04:57 of how I'm feeling.
04:58 Especially when I don't see no one else
04:59 rocking what I'm rocking.
05:01 How I'm rocking it.
05:02 My most obvious essential are my glasses.
05:08 I cannot see without my glasses.
05:11 These are actually prescribed.
05:12 I don't know my number or whatever it is.
05:14 You ever seen that thing in Scooby-Doo
05:15 where she lose her glasses and she like,
05:17 she like looking for them all over the floor?
05:19 That's really how I am.
05:20 It's the biggest glitch for real
05:21 because you use them to see,
05:23 but when you don't have them and you looking for them,
05:25 you can't see so it's kinda hard to find them.
05:28 But yeah, very essential.
05:31 This is my lighter, but it's not just my regular lighter,
05:38 this is my lighter with my lighter case.
05:40 I got these from none of your business
05:42 because if I see one of y'all walking around with these
05:45 and I think it's mine and it's really yours,
05:46 then we gonna have a problem.
05:47 Y'all can look it up.
05:49 Y'all probably won't find it.
05:50 I hope y'all don't.
05:51 Get your own.
05:52 That's one thing, get your own.
05:54 Why you even in a position where you need a lighter
05:57 and you don't have one?
05:58 Why don't you have a lighter?
05:59 Why you leave the house without a lighter?
06:01 Why you link up with me without a lighter?
06:02 You might get this,
06:04 but I'm gonna be watching you the whole time
06:06 and I'm gonna ask for it back.
06:08 Yo bro, you got that lighter still?
06:09 Yo, let me get that back, bro.
06:11 I'm gonna get it back.
06:12 Now this right here, essential.
06:16 When my lips is dry, I literally go crazy.
06:19 Like I can't talk to no one.
06:21 I can't eat no food.
06:22 I don't wanna hear you talk.
06:24 I just need some of this right here.
06:25 If you don't got this on you,
06:26 I probably don't trust you.
06:28 I always got it on me.
06:28 You can borrow mine.
06:30 Shout out Vaseline, man.
06:31 Y'all holding it down.
06:33 On stage, when I'm on stage,
06:38 I always got water next to me.
06:40 You never know, like you might have hit that high note,
06:42 that song after, you might have like five second transition.
06:45 You gotta open the bottle real quick, refill,
06:48 but I don't really like care about the whole water stuff,
06:51 the whole water brand, the whole other than that,
06:53 but I actually like essential.
06:55 Essential, if y'all see this, y'all rock with me,
06:57 I rock with y'all.
06:58 For sure, them bottles getting consumed.
07:00 (upbeat music)
