Zach Wilson's Promise Stands Out vs. Broncos Defense

00:05 but signs of life after what we saw last week.
00:09 And I think Vinny, a lot of people have to realize,
00:11 don't forget that the Jets spent the entire off season
00:15 and all of camp learning an offense
00:18 that catered around one guy, that guy, Aaron Rodgers,
00:21 and that lasted four plays.
00:23 And now all of a sudden Zach Wilson is thrown in
00:27 and he does seem to be getting it.
00:29 It also seems like the Jets are going way more up tempo
00:33 and it seems to be working here.
00:34 So what do you do with him against the worst defense
00:37 in the NFL and at Denver Broncos?
00:39 - Yeah, I mean, it was a good thing to line up here, right?
00:43 Optimism, the Chiefs have been pretty good defensively.
00:45 They have a very strong game,
00:48 operating the offense that you wanted to see.
00:50 Move around Zach Wilson, get a different guys
00:52 beyond Garrett Wilson, get Tyler Conklin
00:55 and Al Lazard and Randall Cobb involved.
00:57 This is what they were probably gonna do
00:58 with Aaron Rodgers, so that's something to look at.
01:00 Reese Hall also was very explosive.
01:02 So Zach Wilson, if you're in a deeper league,
01:05 I wouldn't say, I would feel comfortable playing him
01:08 over like a Joe Burrow this week,
01:10 but you look at the matchup, it is too great.
01:12 I mean, Justin Fields came to life as a passer here.
01:15 Wilson, I think he's showing some things here.
01:17 So I like the matchups here for his receivers.
01:21 Pat Sertaintou is not playing that well for Denver.
01:23 Their number two corner stinks.
01:25 So you got Wilson and Lazard, Reese Hall
01:27 can also catch passes and have an impact, Conklin.
01:30 So if you're looking for a cheap streamer, super flex,
01:32 I would definitely look at Zach Wilson this week as a QB2,
01:35 but I'm just looking at the matchup is too good.
01:38 If he can wake up Fields as a passer,
01:40 it can wake up Wilson and it's gonna be a lot of fun.
01:42 And don't forget Nathaniel Hackett, revenge game.
01:45 Don't forget offensive coordinators have souls too.
01:48 And he's gonna wanna rip it out of Sean Payton this week.
