Transcript
00:00 Good morning everybody it's Steph at the Doncaster Free Press and it's Friday October 6th. Just
00:04 bringing you the headlines today. We have a story that we sent out yesterday some really good news
00:10 for a takeaway. It's been named in the top 40 fish and chip shops in the country so you can
00:18 find out which one that is. I don't think you'll be surprised because it's been in the top for
00:24 quite a few years. So that's going up, well that's up there on the website for you now.
00:30 Then we also have a story about a new multi-million pound housing development which
00:39 works just started on. That's going to deliver 69 new houses, two to five bedroom properties.
00:47 It's a multi-million pound site there so there's details of those properties,
00:53 what they're going to look like and prices and when we can expect to see it get finished.
00:59 Then we also put out a story late yesterday when we had some reports come in of some sort of
01:07 incident between two Doncaster schools in Kirk's Handel. Apparently there was some sort of
01:17 incident, well we've had reports of a fight, we've had reports of a stabbing. We've approached the
01:22 police, we're just waiting to hear back from that but we do know that there was police and
01:26 ambulance at the site there. A lot of people witnessed that including a number of pupils
01:32 so we're here. So as soon as we get some more details on that we'll bring you up to date but
01:37 there is a piece online already with the basic details that we have. So for those three stories
01:44 and for anything else that's happening in the city today and obviously over the weekend as well,
01:50 visit the website www.doncasterfreepress.co.uk and obviously you can catch up with us on
01:57 Facebook as well. Hope you have a great Friday and a lovely weekend.
