Transcript
00:00 Hi everybody, it's Steph at the Doncaster Free Press and it's Thursday, August the 17th.
00:05 Just bringing you our headlines from the website this morning.
00:09 First up we've got some great news for people who are looking for work.
00:13 Aldi Distribution Centre is hoping to employ around 170 people between now and the end of the year.
00:21 So that's really, really good news if you're unemployed.
00:27 So there's information on there about what the job entails.
00:30 It's got a great hourly rate as well, so take a look at that.
00:34 Then we've got a bit of a heartbreaking story actually.
00:39 A lady who lost her husband and her dad to brain tumours within months of each other actually.
00:50 She's doing some fundraising for the charity that supported her throughout that traumatic time in her life.
00:57 Quite sad, but she's doing good out of something so bad.
01:03 And then on a better note, some great news for the Yorkshire Wildlife Park.
01:08 They have revealed that they've got two cheetahs at the park now, endangered species.
01:16 They certainly will draw in crowds. I'm going next week, hopefully I'll get a quick peek of them.
01:23 Not seen one before, so that'll be quite exciting.
01:26 So you can read all about that and anything else that's happening in Doncaster today on our website,
01:31 which is www.doncasterfreepress.co.uk.
01:35 And don't forget it's Thursday, so it's newspaper day.
01:38 Make sure you go out and buy your copy. I'll speak to you later.
