00:00 Good morning everybody, it's Steph at the Free Press and it's Friday, Friday August the 11th,
00:06 so just bringing you our headlines for today. Overnight we, well late tea time yesterday,
00:14 we heard a report of a road which had been sealed off, Thorn Road in Doncaster, obviously one of our
00:22 quite busy thoroughfares was sealed off to deal with an emergency incident. We're still waiting
00:30 to get confirmation exactly of what happened down there but it sounds like it involved a taxi driver
00:35 and a female driver in another vehicle but like I say we're just waiting to confirm that at the
00:42 moment. So that's doing very very well on our website at the moment. Then we've got one which
00:47 is quite interesting, it's a couple that are touring all over the country, they want to visit
00:53 60,000 pubs. Sounds great, also sounds like a big headache to me, I hope they're having lots of pork
01:03 scratchings or alternative vegan snacks whilst they're drinking, they're having an alcoholic
01:08 drink in every pub supposedly, so yeah that's a good pastime if you can get the time off work.
01:16 And then at number three, something I put out yesterday which is the best and worst rated
01:22 doctor surgeries as voted by patients in a satisfaction survey that was carried out.
01:29 We've got links to that survey so you can type in your doctor surgery and just see how well
01:37 that's done and compare it to others in the city. So for those three stories and for anything else
01:43 that's happening in Doncaster today and over the weekend, keep visiting our website which is
01:49 www.doncasterfreepress.co.uk and of course if there's anything going on that you think we might
01:56 not know about by all means get in touch and we can look into it for you. Hopefully it's going to
02:01 be a quiet weekend and I hope you have a really really good one. I'll speak to you next week.
