00:41 you're looking at this team going,
00:42 "Okay, what's a good season for the Houston Texans?"
00:45 Just make sure you have a quality quarterback
00:46 that you believe over the next 10 years
00:48 can lead your franchise.
00:49 Maybe to a Super Bowl, maybe to constant playoff runs,
00:51 but that's what the hope is here.
00:53 And also, you didn't lead him into and say,
00:55 "You know what?
00:56 "He's falling into a perfect situation.
00:57 "The San Francisco 49ers drafted him.
00:59 "Look at all the weapons he has.
01:01 "What did you want him to do?
01:02 "Fail because he has some talent."
01:03 No, he's actually in a completely different scenario
01:05 where he played a majority of the season already
01:08 without his intact offensive line.
01:09 He's got Tank Dell at wide receiver and Nico Collins
01:12 and a couple of running backs, as I like to say,
01:15 in the backfield.
01:15 And he's performing awfully well.
01:17 Take a look at the number one overall pick,
01:19 Bryce Young, for the Carolina Panthers.
01:20 Look how he's performing here.
01:22 Not so good, but you expect that typically from a rookie.
01:24 When you watch CJ Stroud, it's all there.
01:27 The size, the measurables, the arm strength,
01:29 the decision-making here has been tremendous here.
01:32 There's a chance that the Houston, Texas
01:34 actually might be a factor in winning the AFC South.
01:37 Nobody would have thought that coming into the season.
01:39 It is a long season.
01:40 There is a thing called a rookie wall.
01:42 You're gonna get a lot more looks.
01:43 Teams are gonna get more film on you, I understand.
01:45 But everything we've seen out of CJ Stroud
01:47 in this early season, he's passed with flying colors.
01:50 I'm buying CJ Stroud.
01:51 I'm buying that organization.
01:52 I'm buying Demek O'Ryans.
01:54 I like everything I've seen.
01:55 And just wait until they even add
01:58 to that talent pool on offense.
