PM: More funding to increase protection for Jewish people
Prime minister Rishi Sunak chaired a meeting with police chiefs on Thursday, following reports of a rise in anti-Semitic incidents in the UK. 00:41 over the past few days. That's not right. We've provided extra funding to the Community
00:44 Security Trust to make sure that Jewish institutions, whether that's synagogues or schools, have
00:49 the protection they need and that the police have all the support that they need to ensure
00:54 that our streets are safe for people from all communities because we will absolutely
00:58 not tolerate people inciting hatred or violence or racist activity, intimidating or threatening
01:05 behaviour. We will not be tolerated. It will be met with the full force of the law.
