00:00 Justin Brownlee, a GILAS player, tested positive for a prohibited substance in a doping test in the Asian Games.
00:07 According to the International Testing Agency, he was given a sample of carboxy-THC,
00:13 which is used in the use of cannabis or marijuana.
00:16 Brownlee's camp was held until October 19.
00:20 Philippine Olympic Committee President Bambol Tolentino clarified that Brownlee did not take any substance before the game.
00:28 But he was operated in America before the Asian Games.
00:32 Tolentino also said that under the rules of the Olympic Council of Asia,
00:36 if two members of a team tested positive for banned substances, they could be punished.
00:43 In the case of GILAS, aside from Brownlee, all players were cleared.
00:48 The Philippines should not be worried because we still have the gold medal in the Asian Games.
00:53 For now, another sample of Brownlee will be under testing.
