00:00 Good morning from the Pag-asa Weather Forecasting Center.

00:04 This is our update on what will be the weather for the next 24 hours.

00:09 The heavy rains, thunderstorms, and thunderstorms are still falling.

00:13 This is a trough of low-pressure area that we have been monitoring for the past few days.

00:17 This is outside our Philippine Area of Responsibility,

00:20 but we will still experience rain in the Palawan area within the next 24 hours.

00:27 Meanwhile, in the rest of the country, including Metro Manila,

00:31 generally, we will experience fair weather conditions in the next few hours.

00:36 There is still a chance of light rain that will bring northeasterly surface wind flow

00:42 in some parts of the northern part of Luzon.

00:44 And there is a chance of rain that will bring localized thunderstorms,

00:48 usually in the afternoon and evening in the rest of the country.

00:52 At the moment, we are not monitoring any other low-pressure areas

00:57 that may have thunderstorms that may affect our country in the next few days.

01:03 And for the weather conditions in Luzon,

01:08 we will still experience heavy rain and thunderstorms in the Palawan and Calayan Islands.

01:16 This trough or low-pressure area is still outside our Philippine Area of Responsibility.

01:22 In Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon,

01:25 we are expecting that it will be sunny.

01:28 And we will see here in some areas of northern Luzon,

01:32 in the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Apaya, and Abra,

01:37 because of the northeasterly surface wind flow

01:41 or the wind that comes from the north coast,

01:44 we still have a chance of isolated light rains.

01:49 And in the southern part of Luzon,

01:51 the rain that we are expecting will bring thunderstorms,

01:54 usually in the afternoon and evening.

01:57 Temperature forecast for the area of Lauag today,

02:00 it is possible to play from 25 to 33 degrees Celsius.

02:04 17 to 23 degrees here in Baguio City

02:07 and 25 to 34 degrees Celsius in Tagagarao.

02:10 Temperature forecast for Metro Manila today is from 24 to 31 degrees Celsius.

02:15 22 to 29 degrees here in Tagaytay

02:19 and 24 to 32 degrees Celsius in Legazpi City.

02:23 Puerto Princesa and Calayan Islands,

02:25 temperature forecast is playing from 25 to 31 degrees Celsius.

02:30 In the part of Visayas and Mindanao,

02:33 the whole of Visayas and Mindanao will experience a half sunny weather,

02:37 generally fair weather conditions as well.

02:39 We are expecting to still be careful of strong winds during the rain

02:44 or strong rains that will bring localized thunderstorms.

02:48 These rains do not last long,

02:50 usually from 30 minutes to 2 hours only.

02:53 And in the early morning,

02:55 we have already seen thunderstorm activity in some areas of Eastern Visayas,

02:59 on the island of Camiguin,

03:00 and also in some areas of Caraga and Davao region.

03:04 These rains are just temporary,

03:05 so we expect later in the day,

03:07 so later in the day,

03:09 it will be clearer in the weather

03:12 that we will experience in the mentioned areas.

03:15 And we expect thunderstorms to last until the evening.

03:20 Temperature forecast for Iloilo today is from 25 to 31 degrees Celsius.

03:26 26 to 32 degrees here in Cebu and in the part of Tacloban.

03:31 The quota temperature in Cagayan de Oro today is from 25 to 32 degrees Celsius.

03:36 25 to 33 degrees here in Davao

03:39 and 25 to 34 degrees Celsius in Zambuanga.

03:44 And in our sea conditions,

03:46 there is no high gale warning in any of our islands,

03:49 it is just normal to expect the right waves.

03:53 But we still have to be careful of our fellow fishermen

03:56 because if we have offshore thunderstorm activity,

04:00 these are the rains in our seas,

04:02 we expect the strong winds to affect the rise of our waves.

04:09 And for our 3D extended weather outlook in the surrounding cities of our country,

04:14 the whole country for the next 3 days,

04:16 or at least for the majority of our country,

04:18 we will experience generally fair weather conditions.

04:22 This good weather will continue in the majority of the Philippines.

04:26 We will see here in the northern part of Luzon,

04:29 in particular in the city of Baguio,

04:32 because of the continuous or what we expect to be strong

04:35 of the northeasterly surface wind flow,

04:37 we will still experience the chances of isolated light rains

04:40 or the weak rains.

04:42 And we will also expect the lower part of our temperatures here.

04:47 And in the southern part of our country,

04:49 we will still have the rains brought by localized thunderstorms

04:52 that usually pour from the afternoon to the evening.

04:57 Temperature forecast for Metro Manila for the next 3 days

05:01 is from 24 to 32 degrees Celsius.

05:04 16 to 23 degrees here in Baguio City

05:07 and 24 to 33 degrees Celsius in Legazpi City.

05:11 Temperature forecast for Metro Cebu is from 25 to 32 degrees Celsius

05:17 and 25 to 33 degrees Celsius here in Metro Davao area.

05:22 The sunny day here in Camanila will be popular later at 5.47 in the morning

05:28 and will be cloudy later at 5.37 in the afternoon.
