00:00Good morning from the Pag-asa Weather Forecasting Center.
00:04This is our update on the weather for the next 24 hours.
00:09Earlier this morning, the center of Baguio-Marce was last seen
00:13in the 500-kilometer-wide Kanluran of Lawag City in the province of Ilocos Norte.
00:19This is outside our Philippine Area of Responsibility.
00:22There is a strong wind that is close to the center reaching 155 kilometers per hour
00:27and a strong wind that is close to 190 kilometers per hour.
00:31The wind continues to move west-northwestward at a speed of 20 kilometers per hour
00:36away from our country.
00:38For now, there is no direct effect on any part of our Kanluran,
00:42but we will continue to monitor the changes in the weather inside our PAR.
00:47This low-pressure area was entered by our Philippine Area of Responsibility
00:51earlier at 2 a.m.
00:53Our latest location, as of 3 a.m. today,
00:57is at a distance of 1,150 kilometers from the south-eastern Luzon.
01:02There is a high chance that this low-pressure area will become a storm within the next 12 hours,
01:08but at least for today, there is no direct effect on any part of our country.
01:12For Metro Manila and most of the country, we will continue to monitor the weather.
01:18Generally, in fair weather conditions, it is still possible that there will be rain

01:28We also have another low-pressure area that we are monitoring outside our Philippine Area of Responsibility.

03:21However, our fellow fishermen should still be careful
03:25because if there is an offshore thunderstorm activity,
03:28if there is an offshore thunderstorm activity,
03:31we expect that the strong winds will be a part of the rise of our waves.
03:37This is our 3-day weather forecast.
03:40The low-pressure area that we are monitoring,
03:42there is a high chance that there will be a typhoon within the next 12 hours.
03:46Most likely, this morning, there will be a typhoon.
03:50In the event of development, the tropical cyclone bulletin will immediately issue a warning.
03:57Because of this possible weather disturbance,
03:59we expect that starting tomorrow Sunday,
04:02there will be a high chance of heavy rains in the areas of Southern Luzon,
04:07here in Bicol Region and Quezon,
