Judge threatens Giuliani with contempt for failing to follow order
A federal judge on Nov. 7, 2024 (local time) threatens to hold former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani in civil contempt for failing to surrender his luxury apartment and other belongings to two Georgia election workers he defamed and owes $148 million. US District Judge Lewis Liman in Manhattan had on Oct. 22 ordered Giuliani, formerly a US Attorney and personal lawyer to President-elect Donald Trump, to hand over the property to Ruby Freeman and her daughter Wandrea "Shaye" Moss within seven days. The property would partially satisfy a judgment that a Washington, D.C., jury in December 2023 awarded Freeman and Moss, who accused Giuliani of destroying their reputations through lies that they tried to help steal the 2020 US presidential election from Trump.

00:00I'm gonna turn over
00:02What I'm supposed to turn over when they figure out what that is
00:06this is this is not a
00:09There's never been a trial. I never had a trial this whole I owe
00:14145 million dollars for the never having a trial on liability or damages
00:20And I have a doctor tape recordings that they
00:25In Georgia doctor
00:27That would prove that everything I said was absolutely true and correct
00:31This is a persecution of a lawyer for representing his client
00:37The lawyer who brought this case
00:40Didn't disclose the fact that he was Hunter Biden's client Hunter Hunter blind Biden's law partner
00:46And he also was a lawyer for Burisma
00:49You may not know Burisma, but if you buy my book you'll read all about
00:52Burisma is a corrupt company
00:55in Ukraine
00:57that paid
00:59At least eight million dollars in bribes to Hunter Biden and to then vice president of the United States
01:05For which I gathered the proof
01:09The only one who gathered it and then I was the one who delivered the hard drive
01:14to the New York Post I
01:16Don't take any credit away from the New York Post
01:19But occasionally when they take credit for their great work, they should say that I found it for them
01:25I gave it to them and I somewhat leaned on them to go with it
01:30So I've been the source of all the Joe Biden's troubles going back to
01:352017
01:36When I first started to receive threats
01:38I was surveilled by the FBI and went and took my iCloud account
01:44Didn't tell me the day I began representing Donald Trump
01:48In order to spy on attorney-client
01:53Communications a
01:56Couple years later. They raided my apartment and
01:59My law office and many of you wrote where there's smoke there's fire. Oh, he must be guilty. The FBI wouldn't do that
02:06Except a year and a half to two years later
02:10The US Attorney was required by my lawyer Bob Costello
02:14To write a letter to the grand jury saying that their investigation had uncovered
02:18No evidence of any kind of probable cause to mr. Giuliani committed any crime
02:24That's after a 20-year went back 20 years in my business
02:28if they didn't have probable cause then
02:31How do they have probable cause to raid me?
02:35And how do they have probable cause to go take my iCloud account?
02:39when I
02:41Began representing Trump and how the hell do they legally raid my law office when I had other clients
02:48This case comes out of that
02:51Group, it's brought by an activist group
02:54The chief lawyer was Hunter Biden's law partner
02:57The chief lawyer was a lawyer for the law firm that represented the single most corrupt
03:03company
03:04in Ukraine, that's the source of the eight million dollar bribe at least
03:09And there may be more in an offshore bank account
03:13Which would be available to the FBI if they?
03:17Questioned witnesses who were made available to them four years ago, and they never went to question and finally
03:26The lawyer who brought this case
03:28Represents the company that's responsible for a 50 million dollar bribe to the president of Ukraine
03:36Poroshenko who's the one who dropped the case
03:38To let out Hunter Biden, but most importantly
03:42Mr. Zlochevsky
03:44Who is probably one of the richest?
03:47oligarchs and
03:50organized criminals in Ukraine who by the way is pro-russian, so
03:56I have no doubt when this case was brought it was financed
04:00Not by these two women, but by the Bidens and it was financed to do with the
04:05Did to me
04:07very articulate
04:10Very very big fight cat vocabulary obviously could be the New York Public Schools have deteriorated
04:15but the reality is
04:18that this case is
04:20Obviously a political vendetta
04:24It's just a mere fact that it's a hundred and forty five million dollar judgment
04:28I'm very very disappointed that this judge doesn't take seriously how ridiculous
04:35The judgment is I never got a trial
04:41Originally I was found
04:43liable because I didn't comply with discovery and
04:46Then when we had our damages trial the judge told me that if I testified to what I had been saying she hold me in
04:53Contempt now the judge who did that was judge Beryl Howell
04:57Who was the chief judge in?
05:00DC
05:01Who was the most bloodthirsty?
05:03January 6 judge she called the other judges together
05:07Along the way and told them they weren't giving enough time to the January 6 defendants and all throughout the trial
05:14she
05:16Just about allowed me to put on no witnesses
05:18So I am pretty sure you're never absolutely sure this case can get reversed
05:24This judge could wait
05:26Until this case was affirmed
05:28by the DC Circuit
05:30Most judges would rather than just take all of a man's property away, but they are taking it away
05:39Yeah, I have it all
05:43Well, I will tell them where it is and they can have it I mean a couple of things that I think it's outrageous
05:50No, no, no, I have to tell them where it is and they can come and get it
05:55Well, we'll figure that out I certainly don't have to deliver it from, Florida, so my car
06:03It seems like there was a real heated moment early on where the judge said you need to list more people explaining where your financial
06:10Assets were you said I don't want to do that. No, no, no. No. No, I didn't what's going
06:14I didn't say about my financial assets where my problem with the question was who put together
06:20The distribution of the property and he wanted me to give the names of those people in the past in the four years of this
06:27completely political
06:30Vindictive case orchestrated by the Bidens every name I've given has been tortured. They've been served at ridiculous hours
06:37They've been threats of contempt
06:40the orders
06:42Instead of making a request. It's like one page or two. They were getting requests like this
06:46I I was hoping the judge would be sensitive to the fact that this is not an ordinary case
06:54This is a case for political persecution just a mere fact of the hundred and forty five million dollar judgment tells the whole world that
07:01There isn't a person that doesn't know that the judgment is ridiculous. These women didn't have a hundred and forty five million dollars worth of damage
07:08even if you believe
07:11That I wasn't telling the truth
07:13They didn't have a hundred and forty five million dollars worth of damage that was a punitive
07:18Award from the the District of Columbia voted for I think 92%
07:26For against Donald Trump, there's
07:30100 January 6 defendants went to trial. Nobody's been acquitted. I don't know of any set of cases where nobody ever gets acquitted
07:37My lawyer told me no chance of a fair trial in the District Club
07:42No chance just impossible, of course, that's not America, but hopefully that's gonna change
07:55You
