Florida State Dominates Syracuse, Extending Win Streak to 6-0

00:08 It was Syracuse at Florida State,
00:10 number four ranked Florida State.
00:12 We're sitting at six and oh, four and oh in conference,
00:14 and they win in dominating fashion.
00:17 This one wasn't close, Mark.
00:19 41 to three, that was the Noles on top of the Orange.
00:22 Really never close.
00:24 53 being the total, 53 and a half being the total,
00:27 stays under Seminoles.
00:30 Doing a lot there at home in Doke,
00:34 winning in comfortable fashion,
00:35 covering in comfortable fashion as well.
00:38 Did you take anything away from Tallahassee?
00:40 Yeah, I mean, it was tighter probably in the first half
00:42 than it needed to be.
00:43 Florida State made some mistakes
00:45 in the early part of the game.
00:47 Mike Norvell was super aggressive,
00:48 going for it on fourth down repeatedly in the first half,
00:52 and it ended up working out overall in the game
00:55 as they walk out of there with a win.
00:57 But Mike Norvell's gonna have some challenges ahead of him,
01:01 particularly next week against Duke,
01:03 which is a really tough defense, Syracuse is not.
01:06 But they have the clearest path
01:07 to the college football playoff
01:08 of any team in the country, by far.
01:10 They have Duke next week at home.
01:13 If they get past there,
01:14 the only legitimate opponent they have left
01:16 is going to be Miami,
01:18 and Miami might not be that good by the time
01:20 those two teams face each other at the end of the year.
01:23 They won't see Clemson again in the title game
01:28 unless they get help,
01:31 because Clemson already has two conference losses,
01:33 so they would need multiple other teams
01:35 to have two conference losses,
01:36 and they would have to have tiebreakers over them
01:37 to get back to the ACC championship game.
01:39 Remember, the divisions are gone in the ACC,
01:41 so it's just the top two teams
01:44 that are gonna play for the ACC title.
01:46 So that's gonna change things a little bit.
