00:00 (chimes tinkling)
00:02 - All right, thank you, Jimmy.
00:06 Our next speaker is CEO of the Azoff Company
00:09 and a producer and manager of some of the biggest artists
00:13 we all know and love, and he was recently selected
00:15 for his own Walk of Fame star.
00:18 He's gonna get it next year in 2024.
00:20 Welcome Irving Azoff.
00:21 (audience cheering)
00:29 - I love you! - I love you too.
00:32 When Gwen Stefani walks in a room,
00:34 you know you're in the presence of greatness.
00:36 (audience cheering)
00:37 No one works harder or deserves more
00:40 to be the worldwide icon and role model
00:42 she has become than Gwen.
00:44 She burst onto the music scene as the lead singer
00:47 of the Orange County ska band No Doubt
00:49 and took them to the top of the charts
00:51 and worldwide fame with her singing and writing talent,
00:54 her incredible stage presence, and that it factor
00:57 that defines taste and trend-setting,
01:00 and that was just the beginning.
01:02 Gwen has more than earned her star
01:04 on the Hollywood Walk of Fame
01:06 for the indelible mark she's left on the world
01:08 as a pop diva, a fashion icon, a musical mentor
01:12 through her great work at The Voice,
01:14 a successful entrepreneur,
01:16 and a role model for women worldwide.
01:19 For all of these reasons,
01:20 I've always been proud to call Gwen a client,
01:23 but my happiness today is far more personal
01:25 'cause Gwen has never been just a girl
01:28 and she's never been just a client either.
01:30 For years, even before she was a client,
01:32 she's been a trusted member of the Azoff family
01:35 and the nicest one of us by a healthy margin.
01:38 (audience laughing)
01:40 I knew that The Voice was gonna be a great move for Gwen,
01:43 but even I am not farsighted enough to have known
01:47 how much it was going to ultimately change her life.
01:50 Gwen once wrote, "I'm just an Orange County girl
01:53 "living in an extraordinary world."
01:55 But even then, I bet she couldn't have imagined
01:57 that extraordinary world would eventually include
02:00 a cowboy husband and life on a ranch
02:03 and of all places, Tishomingo, Oklahoma.
02:06 (audience cheering)
02:08 Who knew that flannel and camo
02:10 could be so fashionable and compatible?
02:14 As unlikely as their pairing may have seemed at one point,
02:17 it's clear that Gwen is never happier
02:19 when she's on the ranch with her boys,
02:21 husband Blake Shelton, and what Gwen would say
02:23 is her greatest accomplishment, her three sons,
02:26 Kingston, a budding musician on his own right,
02:30 Zuma, and Apollo.
02:31 (audience cheering)
02:34 But today, we are a long way from Tishomingo
02:37 so that Gwen can join Blake on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
02:41 Amazing they put him up here, but anyway,
02:44 there are a number of famous couples here,
02:45 Bogie and Bacall, Lucy and Desi, Liz and Richard,
02:49 and now we have Gwen and Blake.
02:51 (audience cheering)
02:54 It's my extreme honor and pleasure today
02:56 to represent the entire Azoff company and family
02:59 to welcome our Gwen to her very well-deserved place
03:02 among the stars of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
03:04 The street's already looking a thousand times better
03:07 with her in the neighborhood.
03:08 (audience cheering)
03:19 Okay.
03:20 (whooshing)
