00:00Our next speaker, Mark Wahlberg.
00:06And what about this location?
00:27Thank you, everybody.
00:28Good morning.
00:29It's a beautiful, beautiful day.
00:31I'm so happy and fortunate that I'm here to celebrate with my brother.
00:35You know, Mario and I have been friends for a long time.
00:38I think there's one quick thing that I have to call bullshit on, excuse my language, but
00:44I've been watching this guy on television since I was a baby.
00:49He was like this buff dude with the mullet and the tank top.
00:53I come and I meet him.
00:54Now, he's two years younger than me.
00:56How is that even possible?
00:59And I apologize, I just showed up from the golf course.
01:01I didn't get the memo, but he's always obviously dressed to the nines and I am very surprised
01:08that he hasn't gotten this star and this acknowledgement a long time ago, but I know it's well worth
01:12the wait.
01:13I know what it means to you and especially I know what it means to your mom and to your
01:16dad.
01:17And I asked your mother, please don't bring me to tears.
01:19But it's very difficult because, you know, this restaurant was built, you know, with
01:24my mother and with my family and nothing more important than family.
01:29Mario and I always joke that he's got Irish in him and I have Mexican in me and I really
01:34feel like he is my hermano and my mijente.
01:37So I really appreciate him asking me to come and speak because, you know, he's somebody
01:43that I admire and I've looked up to for a long time.
01:45To be able to do all the things that he does, multitask the way he does, but also balancing
01:50his family and the priorities of his children, it's a wonderful balance and he does it with
01:55ease.
01:56So I'm very impressed and I wanted to thank you, tell you that I look up to you even though
02:00you say you're younger than me.
02:03And he thinks I had something to do with this.
02:07I promise you I didn't.
02:08If I could have, I would have put my own star here.
02:12But it's something that we get to celebrate.
02:15Thank you for making that video for me, by the way.
02:18I appreciate it.
02:19And, you know, I'm glad you guys all came out.
02:21You can see what Mario's meant to everybody by the turnout that we have here.
02:26It's pretty incredible.
02:27Mario, make sure you take that in because, you know, like you said, people feel like
02:31they know you.
02:32You know, you are authentic and you are very true to who you are.
02:36I admire you for a long time, brother.
02:37I love you.
02:38I love that we got to work on the Oscar doc together.
02:41We have many other things coming in the future.
02:44And I like, you know, I'm proud to call you my friend and my brother and my colleague.
02:47So thank you, buddy.
02:48Congratulations.
02:49Well deserved.
