00:00 At this petrol station in Deir el-Balakh, Palestinians queue for six hours to get just
00:06 20 litres of fuel. The severe shortage of gas in the enclave means families have turned
00:11 to firewood to cook and boil water.
00:14 "There is no electricity, no water. We turn on the generators to transfer water to the

00:21 Hospitals are also struggling to function on remaining fuel supplies, in addition to
00:26 a shortage of anaesthetics, antiseptics and blood transfusion bags.
00:31 The territory had already been under Israeli blockade since 2007. But since Hamas' deadly
00:37 attack on October 7th, Israel has tightened its embargo, meaning food, medical supplies
