00:00 The Detroit Lions are set to welcome two key contributors back onto the field in this weekend's
00:04 matchup. Here today to break that down is SIO Alliance John Macroom. John, give me your thoughts
00:10 on the return of Brian Branch and Jameer Gibbs. Yeah Cameron, real interesting now heading into
00:16 Baltimore. Detroit Lions looking to improve their record to six and one. I think it's one of the
00:21 most evenly matched matchups this week in the National Football League. The Detroit Lions are
00:26 going out on the road to face a Baltimore Ravens team that's playing well, led by John Harbaugh and
00:31 quarterback Lamar Jackson. And now you get a couple key contributors back. You get potentially now in
00:38 this contest in a game where you're looking to really set the tone early. You're getting back
00:42 Jameer Gibbs and I think the loss to David Montgomery, as everybody knows, is going to be
00:47 very key. It's very much a detrimental loss to the Lions offense. But you get running back Jameer Gibbs
00:53 playing at a high level potentially. He could shoulder the load against the Ravens. The return
01:00 of Brian Branch I think is also going to provide a spark for that defense. An individual that can
01:05 secure the football, always around the football to start his career. Maybe able to secure a turnover
01:12 should he find an avenue to pick off Lamar Jackson. I think that would be something that the Lions
01:17 defense would welcome and relish. But Cameron, you got to look at it and you say this Lions team has
01:22 been able to weather the storm with injuries. They're not going to have David Montgomery or
01:27 Jonah Jackson, but they're going to have two key contributors back and maybe even a third
01:32 in Josh Paschal, who was listed as questionable on the injury report. So the Lions are getting
01:37 healthier and that does not bode well for their opponents. John, it'll be interesting to see what
01:42 contributions Branch and Gibbs will have this weekend. Thanks for all the time.
