00:00 Welcome to WatchMojo and today we're counting down our picks for the most marathon-worthy
00:11 anime of the decade so far.
00:20 Number 10, Mushoku Tensei - Jabalist Reincarnation
00:24 Before he turned into magical extraordinaire, Rudeus Greyrat, this guy was just a neat
00:30 down on his luck.
00:32 But after a run-in with a speeding truck, he reincarnated into a fantasy world with
00:37 a new name, new powers, and a new reason to live.
00:41 Well, quite a few reasons.
00:52 From there, Mushoku Tensei navigated love, magic, personal growth, and more, all without
00:58 losing its spirited sense of humour.
01:07 While its set-up doesn't sound all that original, the show feels like a celebration
01:11 of the genre's tropes, rather than a boring retread of them.
01:15 Altogether, that clever execution makes for a show that's hard to look away from.
01:25 Number 9, Skate the Infinity
01:35 Like a real skateboard, this show is stylish, sturdy, and capable of more than a few sick
01:41 tricks.
01:42 But best of all, it never slows down for any of it.
01:45 The high-stakes racing in each episode will keep your blood pumping from the opening song
01:50 until the closing credits.
01:53 That's not to say skate is all half-pipes and trick shots, though.
02:00 At its heart, it's a simple story about Reki and Langer learning about themselves
02:05 and each other.
02:06 They just happen to do it through some insanely entertaining skate moves.
02:10 Take our word for it, once you get on this board, you'll wish it really was Infinite.
02:22 Number 8, Mashle – Magic and Muscles
02:25 It's brawn versus bewitching in this genre mash-up, and no matter which comes out on
02:30 top, the audience wins.
02:38 The gist of it is that Mash is a beefed-out mortal who snuck his way into a wizarding
02:44 academy.
02:45 But to everyone's surprise, he gets by just fine using his physique alone.
02:49 Mash's tendency to punch through every situation will never stop being funny, especially since
02:55 he usually doles out the pain with the same deadpan expression.
03:05 And fair warning, once you start the show, you won't be able to stop.
03:10 One joke turns into one episode turns into one more until, before you know it, you've
03:15 laughed your way through the whole season.
03:26 Number 7, Tokyo Revengers
03:28 To set this one up, there's time travel, gang wars, and a whole lot of characters with
03:33 a whole lot of conflicting motives.
03:35 It gets complicated fast.
03:40 But that's also why Tokyo Revengers makes for such a great binge-watch.
03:44 The intricate narrative and deep character arcs feel like they were written to be enjoyed
03:49 in bulk.
04:00 Not only is it easier to keep track of, but you also won't have to worry about those
04:04 pesky things called cliffhangers.
04:07 And boy, does Tokyo Revengers love cliffhangers.
04:10 At this point, blazing through full seasons at a time might be the best way to watch Tokyo
04:15 Revengers at all.
04:27 Number 6, Chainsaw Man
04:29 Denji's a humble guy.
04:32 Even after the chainsaw devil gives him a second life, he still just wants to get in
04:36 a girl's pants.
04:37 It sounds juvenile, but keep in mind, he has to look at Makima every day.
04:52 Chainsaw Man also has racy humour, lovable characters, and some jaw-dropping devil-slaying.
04:58 Mainly the ultra-violent, stain-your-screen-red variety.
05:02 But, like the lewd jokes, that's part of its charm.
05:19 With just 12 blood-soaked episodes under its belt, Chainsaw Man is dangerously easy to
05:24 saw through.
05:25 A word of advice, though, try and cherish it.
05:29 Because once you're done, you'll be stuck waiting for the next season like the rest
05:32 of us.
05:41 Number 5, Odd Taxi
05:43, and it's a unique clientele that makes him the only one capable of solving a missing
06:03 person's case.
06:04 That's really all we can say about it without giving too much away.
06:08 And trust us, you'll want to go into this one knowing as little as possible.
06:12 Yes, for the mystery.
06:13 But also because so much of Odd Taxi is about discovering who these characters are for yourself.
06:27 Suffice it to say, the story is worth the ride, especially since it's so quick.
06:32 Odd Taxi only has one short season, and the pacing is so fast, it'll end before you
06:37 know it.
06:42 Number 4, Bleach, Thousand Year Blood War
06:45 After nearly a decade off the air, Ichigo is back, and better than ever.
06:58 Thanks to the series' extended hiatus, Thousand Year Blood War has the benefit of adapting
07:03 a finished story.
07:05 That means, for the very first time, Bleach is all killer, no filler.
07:09 Each and every single episode is tightly scripted, action-packed, and most importantly, leaves
07:15 you wanting more.
07:16 Combine that with noticeably higher production values, and it really feels like the series
07:21 has hit its stride again.
07:34 If you haven't caught up with Bleach, now's the time to do it.
07:38 Considering how addictive Thousand Year Blood War is, that shouldn't take you very long
07:42 anyway.
07:51 Number 3, Cyberpunk Edgerunners
07:54 Netflix had the right idea when they dropped this show all at once.
07:59 Edgerunners just wasn't made for weekly viewing.
08:08 While it's technically broken up into ten episodes, the fade to black feels more like
08:12 a built-in potty break than anything else.
08:15 In reality, Cyberpunk Edgerunners is an epic five-hour movie masquerading as a TV series.
08:22 The way the story continuously builds upon itself practically forces you to watch the
08:26 next and the next and the next.
08:36 Whether you've played the game, never touched it, or haven't even heard of Cyberpunk,
08:40 Edgerunners is sure to take your heart.
08:43 And odds are, it won't give it back until the final episode is done.
08:52 Number 2, Oshinoko
08:55 Watching one episode of Oshinoko is basically the same thing as watching the whole season.
09:01 Let's just say that, within its first 20 minutes, the show is all but guaranteed to
09:05 leave you a human puddle who can't put the remote down.
09:15 The story exposes the hardships of the entertainment industry through the eyes of grief-stricken
09:20 twins, Ruby and Aqua.
09:22 But rather than indulging in hammy plot points, Oshinoko gives its characters their due time
09:27 in the spotlight, both literally and figuratively.
09:36 The emotional stakes become so high that, eventually, you don't just want to find
09:41 out what happens anymore, you want to find out what happens to Ruby and Aqua specifically.

10:08 Number 1, Jujutsu Kaisen
10:18 Watching Jujutsu Kaisen is a lot like Itadori eating those damn fingers.
10:22 You can't just stop at one.
10:24 Somehow, someway, his quest to consume the King of Curses turned into a series-long representation
10:31 of shounen anime at its best.
10:33 The stories are gripping, the characters are well-drawn, and the action… well, the action
10:38 speaks for itself.
10:45 The fact that some of these fights stretch out through several episodes practically demands
10:49 that they be seen together.
10:51 That ravenous pacing has continued throughout the first season, the prequel film, and beyond.
10:56 Clearly, Jujutsu Kaisen is an anime you have to keep your eyes on, otherwise it'll be
11:01 over in a black flash.
