00:00 Sports Press Rick Harrow and Southern 1.3 trillion dollar business of sports with the
00:11 Maxwell matchups.
00:12 The top three games this week with off-field implications brought to you by the Maxwell
00:17 Football Club.
00:18 Number one, when Georgia travels probably you could say to Florida for the world's largest
00:23 cocktail party.
00:24 It's in Jacksonville, TIA Bank Stadium and it is a battle that started in 1904, annual
00:31 effectively 1933 and on.
00:34 It always has impact in the SEC, especially in the east side.
00:38 When you think of it, this is a game that's going to be changing.
00:41 Jacksonville, by the way, provides the city a million to a million and a half to each
00:46 team to reimburse their travel because the economic impact is so great.
00:50 Also as far as the stadium is concerned, major renovations to it in the next few years.
00:55 Gotta find a home for the game while those renovations are being done.
01:00 There won't be a problem finding that home.
01:02 Number one, Florida and Georgia.
01:05 Number two, number 20 Duke and number 18 Louisville.
01:10 Yeah, it's a great ACC basketball match.
01:13 Oh, hey, this is football.
01:15 It's tremendous as far as a five and two Duke and six and one Louisville, both significant
01:21 economic impact in their respective communities.
01:24 Jeff Brom, small business bonanza for the University of Louisville and surrounding environs.
01:29 As far as Duke is concerned, the Durham Convention and Visitor Bureau is talking about a $4 million
01:35 economic impact when game day visited the football side of the campus recently.
01:41 The bottom line is this is a tremendous matchup in any context.
01:45 It certainly will be on the football field this week.
01:48 That's number two.
01:49 Finally, number one, number eight, Oregon, number 13, Utah.
01:54 Yeah, great Pac-12 conference tournament event to see who actually plays in the championship.
02:02 Final year, six teams ranked in the top 25.
02:05 What an incredible year for them.
02:07 Oregon, according to anonymous sources, has by far the best NIL collective of anybody
02:15 in the Pac-12, as some say.
02:17 Phil Knight behind it clearly, and Bo Nix, one of the reasons why he's able to transfer
02:22 to Oregon from Auburn, because he's making a million four in NIL money high on the charts,
02:29 certainly in the top five.
02:30 The other side, Utah's collective has promised each scholarship athlete a Ram 1500 Big Horn
02:37 truck, something unheard of a few years ago.
02:40 Now it's normal.
02:42 Clearly everybody feels bonded with the collective and the dollars it generates.
02:47 Sports professor Rick Haro, the Maxwell matchup, the top three games with off-field implications
