Concerns Arise Over Kansas State's Performance Vs. Heavyweights

00:40 those are tough spots, they're on the road.
00:42 Is today's game being played on Mars?
00:44 No, it's being played in Austin, Texas,
00:47 where the Longhorns are at home.
00:48 This line is completely disrespectful to Texas.
00:51 And some people might look at last week's game
00:53 against BYU and come away and say, what really?
00:56 The Longhorns went over their team total
00:59 despite two drives going inside the BYU five yard line

01:06 meaning that Texas could've hung a 50 spot on BYU.
01:09 And if they did, this line on that merit alone might be seven.
01:13 K-State, Leecey, has had very few step up spots
01:16 and they haven't stepped up in any of these spots.
01:18 And what I think is being most underrated here
01:20 is a Texas defense that is still
01:22 one of the five best in college football.
01:24 - And very good against the run.
01:25 Holding opposing offenses to less than three yards,
01:28 three and a half yards per carry,
01:29 98 rushing yards per game.
01:31 And guys, they've won six straight in terms of the series.
01:34 The last four, by an average margin of victory,
01:36 of 13.7 points per game.
01:38 Got this victory last year in Manhattan, 34 to 27.
01:42 And again, it comes down to, Ben,
01:44 whether you believe in Texas being there or not.
01:46 Because if you believe Texas is a Big 12 contender,
01:49 potentially one of the top 10 teams in college football,
01:52 they win this game today.
01:54 K-State is balanced.
01:56 They're rushing and throwing for over 200.
01:58 But again, that secondary for Kansas State
02:00 has given up 236 passing yards per game.
02:04 The speed of Worthy and those wide receivers.
02:06 Even Malik Murphy, to me, is the difference.
