00:00 This is the launch of the big new library project, community project, where people like
00:05 me who have got big collections of Burnley stuff can bring it in, donate it, give it,
00:12 because at the end of the day we don't know what to do with it.
00:16 It either comes here or it goes into a skip, because our family don't want it, our relatives
00:22 don't want it, so what do we do with it?
00:25 And when you've got mountains of stuff like I've got, then the idea grew, well let's try
00:33 and start something in Burnley where people can donate all their collections to make a
00:40 permanent resource, reading, browsing, research, if it's winter time come in and sit down for
00:47 a warm, browse away.
00:49 You will find a whole variety of Burnley books, general football books, wonderful old magazines,
00:58 scrapbooks, programmes, memorabilia, diaries.
01:05 Clive Holt brought his complete collection of Burnley records from his time as a Burnley
01:12 director, so the response has been fantastic, people are now coming in, dropping things
01:18 in, they're looking for things, one guy here this morning, oh dear I've got two 1970s scrapbooks
01:26 at home, he lives in Manchester, I'll drop them in.
01:30 So good response.
