Palestine: Situation in hospitals increasingly critical

00:03 is becoming more and more precarious.

00:10 I am now standing inside the maternity building inside the Shuhada al-Aqsa Hospital.
00:19 This building was supposed to be for pregnant women that are planning to give birth.
00:24 However, now during this Israel's war in Gaza, this building became not only for these women,
00:30 but also accepting injuries and patients, and also it is a home to hundreds of Palestinian
00:37 families who fled their homes and came here to live.
00:41 The situation in Gaza's hospital is so dire that now the doctors are not only treating
00:46 injuries on the floors, but they are even operating on pregnant women with C-sections
00:52 without any anesthesia.
00:54 This is how dire the situation here in Gaza.
00:57 Over the past week, we have been talking about the lack of medicine and medical supplies,
01:01 and most importantly, fuel, here in Gaza's hospital.
01:05 And now, apparently, hospitals are the targets of Israel, since this morning, and the Israeli
01:11 warplanes have been targeting around the Al-Shifa Hospital, the Al-Quds Hospital, and also they
01:17 threatened RNTC Hospital, which is Gaza's only hospital to treat patients, to treat
01:23 actually children with cancer.
01:25 We are talking about more than 70 children that are being treated inside this hospital
01:31 with chemotherapy.
01:33 Now the hospital is trying to evacuate these children.
