00:00 The success of Qashqai inspired us to stretch the boundaries of what crossover means with
00:12 a new addition to our line-up, the Nissan Juke.
00:16 Nissan is bringing the industry's first small crossover in the small car market.
00:23 Juke combines the toughness of a sport utility vehicle with the driving pleasure and stylish
00:29 good looks of a sports car.
00:32 We estimate that 80% of Juke buyers will be new to Nissan and Juke will give them all
00:38 a positive introduction to our brand.
00:41 A pioneer in an entirely fresh direction is the Nissan LEAF, the innovative zero-emission
00:46 vehicle making its first European appearance.
00:51 The five-passenger Nissan LEAF is the first model in a complete line-up of all electric
00:56 cars that the Renault-Nissan alliance is designing to be mass marketed.
01:02 For consumers, that translates into affordable appeal since the LEAF's total ownership costs
01:07 will be similar to a comparable diesel compact car.
01:11 The LEAF will rewrite the rulebook on mobility.
01:15 Soon owners can communicate with their cars, with their cell phones, with overnight charging
01:21 at home, they can bypass trips to the oil or fuel station forever.
01:26 Most importantly, they can enjoy the full benefits of zero, with zero emissions, zero
01:32 noise, zero oil, zero hassle.
01:36 I'm pleased to introduce the first of Nissan's global V-platform vehicles, the all-new Nissan
01:43 Micra.
01:44 Combined 25 years experience of designing compact cars for city driving, with a totally
02:01 new versatile platform and Nissan production know-how, and the result is modern, simple,
02:09 and destined to be a serious competitor on the world stage.
02:13 Most importantly, Micra's new engine makes eco-friendliness accessible to everyone.
02:20 The engine will emit only 115 grams of CO2.
02:25 Within six months of its launch, a high-tech derivative will emit 95 grams per kilometer,
02:31 an outstanding level that no other affordable petrol car in its class can match.
02:38 This car will set a new standard for fuel efficiency worldwide, including Japan and
02:44 Thailand.
02:45 In Europe, the new Nissan Micra will go on sale in November 2010.
02:51 At full ramp up in 2013, we expect annual sales of our global compact cars to top one
02:57 million units.
02:58 You can expect the best from Nissan.
03:01 Thank you.
