00:25 That's after some motorists were stopped by the MMDA due to traffic violations on the northbound lane of Edza-Cubao in Quezon City.
00:33 According to the MMDA Task Force Special Operations Chief, Colonel Bonglebria,
00:37 they are now looking for the two motorcyclists who escaped after the MMDA's vehicle was stopped
00:43 because of the motorcyclist who was wearing slippers.
00:46 From Cubao, the chase went on until Barangay Bagong Pag-asa, but the riders were still able to escape.
00:52 Meanwhile, two police officers were stopped by the MMDA because of the passage of the busway.
00:57 One of them has no license and was impounded by the motorcycle,
01:00 while the other one was confiscated by the ticket or license after the vehicle was stopped.
01:05 The MMDA also stopped the service vehicle of two government offices because the passengers were not authorized to pass through the busway.
01:12 Currently, most of the people who were caught here are motorcycle taxi and riders who are avoiding the traffic and pass through the busway.
01:19 Among the 31 motorcyclists, only one was caught by the MMDA and their operation is still ongoing.
01:24 As a reminder to the motorcyclists, starting Monday, November 13, the fine and fine for those who are not authorized to pass through the Edza busway will be higher.
01:35 The fine of P5,000 will be charged for the first offense, P10,000 for a one-month suspension of the driver's license,
01:42 and P20,000 for the second offense, P30,000 for the road safety seminar, and P30,000 for the third offense,
