[a radio revolt... retrospectively]
See now, what you could hear then: painting live on air... for the 3rd time in the history of radio. Performed & broadcasted live at & from RADIO REVOLTEN in Halle/Germany on 30th of October 2016. Call it artworking in realtime... in the studio, improvising freely, were Caroline Kraabel [saxophone], Sarah Washington [radio] and Chris Weaver [electronics, sampling] with painter Marcus Heesch [eggtempera]. The acoustics of the canvas were connected via contact-microphones and manipulated through sampling... so the ending sparkles with a special kind of "call & response".
