00:02 - We used to go to towns and they used to say,
00:04 you know, take your clothes off the line,
00:05 you know, the snow droppers are in town,
00:07 the showys are in town, they're stealing everything.
00:09 We're here to provide the entertainment
00:11 like we've done for a hundred years, my family.
00:13 I know someone in every town in Australia.
00:17 They know when I'm in town, it's showtime.
00:21 - We probably do about 44 shows a year.
00:27 - You love traveling with Dad?
00:29 - I've never thought about doing anything else.
00:30 I know the kids think about it now.
00:33 They always come home.
00:34 - You don't just walk into this business
00:36 and say I'm gonna be a showy.
00:38 - Just hand me down, you know,
00:40 from one generation to another.
00:42 We're becoming the older generation
00:45 and the younger blokes are coming on.
00:48 - Hey, winners wanted, winners needed,
00:50 who's gonna be the next?
00:52 - It's definitely a man's business.
00:54 It gets handed down to the men.
00:56 - Yeah boys, he's having a go.
00:58 - I sort of like the idea of being a tradie or something,
01:00 but Dad gets pretty full on sometimes.
01:03 - He just wants to argue with everything
01:05 you want to do with him.
01:07 When you try and tell him,
01:08 you're the worst fella in the world.
01:09 (indistinct)
01:11 - 382 homes have now been confirmed destroyed.
01:15 - No one's been here to say to us, you should evacuate.
01:17 - Our whole community's sheltering at the water's edge.
01:20 - All our shows all around the coast have been canceled.
01:23 - I can't get no frankfurt.
01:25 - Your life consists of sitting on the lounge,
01:26 playing with your phone or fixing a truck
01:29 or doing some shit.
01:30 - I'm not gonna go out there
01:31 and just hang around Dad all day, he'd be terrorized.
01:33 - We've got this coronavirus now we've got to deal with.
01:37 - No wonder we're going broke.
01:39 - The chances of me meeting somebody else
01:43 in the same industry is very slim.
01:45 - I feel a little bit like I'm letting Dad down,
01:49 but I'm at the point where I have to branch out.
01:54 - I hate the mess, the birth of a kid.
01:57 - All this drama, I'll probably get down
01:59 to about two weeks over or something.
02:01 - They all feel pressured with everyone.
02:03 Enough will never be enough.
02:04 - When the stars align and when the time's right,
02:10 all the bells will be back together.
02:12 And the bell's name, it's never gonna die.
02:14 - We're coming into our hundredth year.
02:17 We wanna keep it going for another hundred years.
02:19 - Sky high on the no limit ride.
02:23 - It will die.
02:23 - Yeah mate.
02:26 (gunshot)
