00:11 why was this such a good fit for both of you?

00:14 I'll start and say, probably haven't looked at it from--

00:18 clearly it helps when you have an understanding of Coach Levy

00:23 and a trust in what he can do.

00:25 Because I've seen it, I've observed it.

00:27 But I think for both of us, it's a great fit

00:29 because of Mississippi State and the resources,

00:32 the ingredients, everything that we have here that you know.

00:36 This doesn't work everywhere, but it works specifically

00:38 at Mississippi State.

00:39 So that's what I'm so excited about.

00:41 It just so happened, as you're looking

00:43 for the next leader of this program,

00:44 just so happened you have somebody that, again, you've

00:47 observed, you've worked with, you understand.

00:49 But I don't think it's more about--

00:51 or it's about Jeff and I. I think

00:53 it's all about what kind of environment

00:55 we have at Mississippi State that makes it a great fit.

00:59 For me, I wasn't the one doing the hiring.

01:04 So as I had the ability to look at it, I loved all the positives.

01:08 I loved, obviously, the conference

01:10 that we're able to be a part of and go play in.

01:12 I love the fact that we've got great proximity to players.

01:16 I love the fact that there's great tradition

01:18 and there's incredible support.

01:20 But then for me, it did give me great clarity and peace

01:23 to know that I was going to be able to go to work for someone

01:26 that I care about and that I trust.

01:29 And for me, that was a huge deal.

01:32 I was in an incredible situation,

01:34 but this was an absolute no-brainer

01:36 because of leadership and all the other things

01:39 that I mentioned.

01:40 So just excited to be able to get it going.
