Franca: “Il podcast mi ha aiutato a non sentirmi più sola”
(Adnkronos) - “Il podcast mi ha cambiato, mi ha dato una forza che non pensavo di avere. Prima ero molto debole, ma sentire le voci e le esperienze di altre persone, chiamiamoli ‘amici’, che hanno sofferto come me, mi ha aiutato a non sentirmi più sola”. Lo ha detto Franca, paziente e tra le voci del podcast, a margine dell’evento di presentazione della seconda edizione del podcast ‘La strada davanti a sè’, che raccoglie la voce e i pensieri di chi ha affrontato un tumore ematologico. Il podcast, promosso da Gilead Sciences e realizzato da Chora Media, racconta quest’anno le storie di Franca, Enrico e Gabriella, i quali sono stati sottoposti alla terapia CAR-T (Chimeric Antigen Receptor T cell therapies).

01:14 you lack the strength, hearing this charismatic voice
01:18 on the other side, who accompanies you, almost makes you fall asleep
01:23 and makes you feel like a fairy tale, always at the end of the bed,
01:28 so I would like to be a witness.
01:32 The goal is to give courage and strength to everyone,
01:35 to all people and to all those who assist these people,
01:39 that a ray of sun is always there,
01:42 despite a storm that can happen,
01:45 but sooner or later a ray of sun arrives,
01:48 and if we are not the ones to create this ray of sun,
01:52 it is difficult for the whole path that we undertake,
01:56 between pain, among many things,
01:59 maybe this black cloud darkens us,
02:02 and we try to make this ray of sun pass through a podcast.
