00:26 It's been so many opportunities where I get that opportunity where it's
00:29 a 50/50 ball and I don't turn my head or, you feel me?
00:32 I get a passing appearance or something like that.
00:34 So just going back to work and being able to turn my head and
00:37 feel comfortable tracking the ball.
00:39 >> Once this game got going, I know there was obviously so
00:41 much kind of lead up to this one for multiple reasons.
00:45 But does it just kinda, seems like once the game got going,
00:47 it felt like just a great, great game.
00:50 >> Yeah, I mean, of course it's another game, but
00:53 this being a little bit different to us.
00:55 It's a little more personal and it hit a little more home to us.
00:58 So once you feel those things in the air, there's no stopping it.

01:04 >> How much who?
01:05 >> How much do you like watching film tomorrow?
01:07 >> I mean, whether it's good, bad, or ugly, we go to the doctor.
01:11 Whether it's good, whether it's bad, whether you got messed up or something,
01:15 we gonna go see that doctor.
01:16 So we gonna get better on all aspects.
01:19 >> What sort of feelings do you have before playing Washington again?
01:23 >> Really just a chance to really prove ourselves,
01:26 really prove what type of defense we are.
01:28 Really prove what type of team we are.
01:30 We shouldn't have lost that game.
01:32 And we're a better team than that.
01:34 We're a totally different team from that game.
01:36 So just being able to reestablish who we are.
01:38 >> To be pressing the action today the way you were without Jahliel,
01:42 just what was it like to take on that assignment and
01:45 then to make a big play like you did?
01:49 >> It was a crazy feeling.
01:50 I can't even describe what the feeling was.
01:52 But I told Jahliel maybe two, three days ago that this game was gonna be for him.
01:57 He wasn't gonna be able to be out there with us and play and practice.
02:01 And I told him this is gonna be for him.
02:03 So just being able to play for my brothers or through my brothers,
02:06 that's all I wanted.
02:08 >> You and Silas Bullden was a really fun matchup to watch.
02:11 You guys were even getting a little chippy there, but nothing but respect afterwards.
02:14 What were you guys saying to each other after battling all day today?
02:17 >> No, when you just got a good player like that, everybody know,
02:21 like once we in these, between these lines right here,
02:24 it's gonna be all types of smack talk, this, this, and that.
02:27 Woo, woo, woo.
02:28 But after the game, I mean, we could be cool.
02:30 I mean, yeah, we could be cool.
02:32 That's all that was.
02:33 >> How do you keep your mindset right?
02:37 It's a test of mental for you.
02:38 It's like, all right, it's competition in your position, but
02:40 the younger guy goes past you on the depth chart during the season.
02:44 When you get your opportunities, you're still in the rotation heavily.
02:46 You're still, but guys, look, still position players, man.
02:50 You guys wanna play.
02:51 >> Okay. >> And it's tough to take that and
02:54 still deliver like you did.
02:56 So how do you do it?
02:57 >> Honestly, I'm glad you asked that question,
02:58 cuz that question, I kinda knew that was coming.
03:01 But just when you got a DB group that loves to see the next man play or
03:07 love to see the next man make a play or anything like that, it's just no drop off.
03:11 You can feel the love.
03:13 You might go to other programs where such and such might not want him to start over
03:17 him and now when he out on the field, you all mouth stuck out.
03:21 Here, it's not like that.
03:22 We got all our guys right there cheering us on, whether it's me,
03:25 whether it's Quez, whether it's Nico, whether it's Kyrie, whether it's Jaleel.
03:29 It don't matter.
03:30 We just got that love for each other.
