00:00 How was the hearing?
00:02 Earlier, there were some issues that you raised your voices.
00:08 What was your reaction to the hearing today?
00:13 The hearing went well.
00:16 I'm very happy with how the chairman conducted and presided over the hearing.
00:24 I'm happy with some of the answers that the research persons gave, although, of course, it was incomplete.
00:33 So, I'm a bit saddened by that.
00:38 But of course, what we need to study here is the effect of this on the franchise that was incorporated in SMNI.
00:48 We still have a follow-up hearing on Tuesday, so we will further get into more details and the other information necessary for the committee to come up with its own recommendation.
01:07 Based on what you saw, are you seeing the possibility that there could be violations on the SMNI franchise?
01:19 Well, when you come out on TV and issue a statement that they just recently said and stated that it's not true, and they admitted that it's not true, and then they broadcast it on television, that has a malicious intent.
01:41 Because earlier, it was clear that before you issue a statement, especially if it's substantial in terms of national security or national interest, you should first know if it's true.
02:00 And here, they admitted that they didn't do due diligence.
02:05 So, we need to focus on that because under Section 4 of their franchise, it specifically says there that it's wrong and prohibited.
02:18 Pardon me for asking this, because some supporters of former President Duterte are raising beef on social media that you're raising this hearing because they're raising it on social media that you have a case against Ombudsman,
02:36 and also because it's related to the issue between the Speaker and VP. Sarah, any thoughts on that? Because Duterte supporters are raising this concern, especially that the issue is a bit heated regarding the Speaker and the Vice President.
02:54 I think there is no connection. I was the one who stood up on Tuesday because of what I saw.
03:01 When I saw it, I was hurt. And what I saw was not right. So, that's the main reason why I stood up.
03:12 So, I think insinuations with regards to reasons behind the hearings are baseless. We should just take it for what it is.
03:25 There was a resolution by other congressmen other than myself that was filed. The committee is merely doing its job.
03:34 Thank you.
