00:00 In our political history, which party has ever had an intraparty election on democratic principles?
00:07 But, there is no evidence of the election of 174 political parties registered in the commission
00:13 that have informed the election commission on the results of the party elections
00:17 and have been given the right to verify.
00:20 How democratic and representative are their elections?
00:23 This question is for every political party that is now remembering democracy on the intraparty elections of PTI.
00:30 Pakistan People's Party, Pakistan Muslim League Noon, JUIFA, ANP and other political parties
00:36 are alive in the form of their speakers, families, personalities and groups.
00:43 They have nothing to do with democratic practices.
00:47 Apart from family kingship, no other party's loyal and capable leader has the central status
00:54 that he has no connection with the king, the royal family or the royal family.
01:00 The PTI, which was organized by Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto,
01:04 has never had any alternative leadership in this party
01:08 and it has been engulfed in the family heritage.
01:12 May Allah grant them a paradise.
01:14 After his martyrdom, Asif Ali Zardari sacrificed all the principles of democracy on a piece of paper
01:20 and took the party in his fist.
01:22 And now, Chairman Asif Ali Zardari and his son are the party's co-chairmen.
01:26 Mr. Zardari is not giving his son the position of party chairman because he is still underage politically.
01:33 If the People's Party is a democratic party, then why not the chairman of a party
01:39 like Gilani, Mia, Battu or Raja?
01:41 Similarly, the Muslim League Noon has four high-ranking positions.
01:45 The elder brother, Nawaz Sharif, is the party leader.
01:47 The younger brother, Shabaz Sharif, is the party leader.
01:49 The daughter, Maryam Nawaz, is the senior vice-chairman and chief organizer.
01:53 And the son-in-law, Ishaq Dar Sahib, is the secretary of treasury.
01:56 So, the Noon League is a family-limited company.
01:59 In this company, elections are not held for the first few years.
02:02 They are not held.
02:04 They are given ultimatums again and again.
02:06 And if they are held, then a non-democratic election is presented beautifully in a democratic way.
02:13 The outcome is achieved in a very noble manner.
02:16 In 2009 and 2010, when Mia Nawaz Sharif was not considered a member of the party,
02:20 she was elected as the party president.
02:22 At that time, Javed Hashmi was also present on stage.
02:24 There was a time in the session when all the party workers stood up
02:28 and started chanting Hashmi, Hashmi.
02:31 And seeing the changing circumstances, Shabaz Sharif came to the podium.
02:35 And he took the opinion of the workers to nominate Javed Hashmi as the party's senior vice-chairman.
02:40 Naturally, Javed Hashmi was elected as the senior vice-chairman.
02:43 But Mia Nawaz Sharif was a little disappointed with Javed Hashmi's basic politics.
02:48 When Javed Hashmi was elected as the senior vice-chairman,
02:51 he addressed Mia Nawaz Sharif and said, "Mia Sahib, I will continue to make such blunders."
02:56 And today, the Muslim League Noon, which is giving a lecture on democracy to Tehreek-e-Insaf,
02:59 has announced that the Muslim League Noon's own intraparty elections were scheduled for March 22, 2022.
03:05 Record it. It was scheduled for March 22, 2022.
03:08 But the party has called for an election commission and has postponed the election to March 14, 2022.
03:13 This date has also passed.
03:15 According to the law, it was necessary to submit a certificate to the election commission by March 21, 2022.
03:20 But on March 22, the election commission issued a notice to Shabaz Sharif
03:24 and warned that if there are no intraparty elections, the party will not be allowed to vote.
03:30 And later, the party leader and the party's general secretary also issued a final show-cause notice.
03:36 The Muslim League Noon assured the election commission
03:39 that by the end of 2022, we will hold intraparty elections at all costs.
03:43 This year's end has also passed.
03:45 On January 5, 2023, the election commission issued another ultimatum.
03:50 Either hold intraparty elections within a week or be deprived of the electoral badge.
03:56 Get ready for it.
03:58 The elections were still not held.
04:00 After this, the election commission gave another last chance and gave a two-month period.
04:04 These two months also passed on March 14.
04:07 The election commission filed a case, but it was persistently excluded from the cause list.
04:13 After a long period of time on the election commission's side,
04:16 finally on June 16, 2023, the Muslim League Noon held intraparty elections.
04:21 2023 has passed.
04:23 And in this election, all candidates were elected without any competition and the republic was strengthened.
04:30 The Muslim League Noon's own constitution gives the party president the authority
04:34 to appoint members of the party's central council, including deputy head, deputy head, and executive council members at will.
04:43 This is the same Muslim League Noon, in whose power the father is the prime minister,
04:48 the son is the prime minister of the province, but no one considers him to be a threat to the republic.
04:54 No one raises the question that the party's senior leader, Khawaja Saad Rafiq,
04:59 becomes the MPA, but Shabaz Sharif's son can become the prime minister, not him.
05:05 None of them can answer this question.
05:07 But everyone is satisfied.
05:09 This is the same democratic party, in which the party's senior leader, Abbasi,
05:14 is left the post of senior deputy head because this post is given to his daughter, Mariam Nawaz.
05:20 Shah Chaudhary Nisar, who openly says that we cannot bow down in front of the children of tomorrow,
05:25 also becomes the MPA.
05:27 And then the question is that if the Muslim League Noon's party president is elected without any competition,
05:31 then he is in accordance with the principles of democracy.
05:33 But if the PTI's chairman is elected without any competition, then how is he a non-democratic?
05:37 If Wali Khan's son, Emil Wali, becomes the party's head, no one has any objection.
05:43 If Mufti Mehmood's son, Maulana Fazlur Rahman, becomes the party's head,
05:47 and then his sons take over the post of the Janashir, no one has any objection.
05:51 If the ANP becomes a community of a family, then it is not a matter of fun.
05:56 Then if a party's worker becomes the head of the Tariq-e-Insaf, then why is it so much of a fuss?
06:01 Although, let me give you a disclaimer, Tariq-e-Insaf, and all other communities,
06:07 do not have a democracy, including PTI.
06:10 But you are not in a position to criticize them, because everyone is in the same boat.
06:17 Barrister Gohar Khan became the chairman of Tariq-e-Insaf.
06:20 Imran Khan has been officially removed from the party.
06:23 And this has been the case since the beginning of our political tradition.
06:26 This has been the case before as well. People's Party became parliamentarians in an attempt to remove Bhutto.
06:31 Mutarma Shaheed was made the party's president by making him the district vatan.
06:34 May Allah grant him a paradise.
06:35 But this loyal president of Mutarma Shaheed, despite being given three chances,
06:39 could not reach the post of the minister of finance.
06:41 Zardari Sahib did not let him become the minister.
06:43 In 2018, when Nawaz Sharif was removed, Shibaz Sharif Sahib took over.
06:47 But this legacy of the party president could never be named in the name of a loyal friend.
06:52 The surprise is that today, the parties that are protesting the PTI's intraparty election,
06:57 are calling it a non-democratic election.
06:59 There is no justice. Nothing is right.
07:02 But they are exactly to blame and exactly guilty of the same thing.
