00:04 interesting business headlines to go over with you this morning.
00:09 So firstly, news from Openreach which has announced that more than 100,000 homes across
00:15 Yorkshire and the Humber are now set to receive full fibre broadband as part of a £30 million
00:21 investment across 13 locations.
00:25 These locations include Maltby, Ilkley, Pocklington and York, obviously amongst others.
00:31 The locations join around 180 other towns and villages across Yorkshire and the Humber

00:40 Also some positive retail news today as we go into the Christmas period.
00:46 Sports Direct's parent firm, the Fraser Group, which is of course owned by ex-Newcastle

01:01 The firm has seen both profits and revenues rise over the past half year, with revenues
01:06 up 4.4% to £2.77 billion.
01:12 Another positive Christmas story in the retail world.
01:15 Games Workshop has announced that under its profit share scheme it will be paying £2,500
01:21 in cash to each employee in December to reward their contribution to the company's performance.
01:28 The company said that it expects revenue for the six months into November to fall at £235
01:35 million, which is up from £212.3 million for the same period last year.
