01:20:49 - What do you mean, sweetie?
01:20:51 - When Grandma and I were at the wishing tree,
01:20:57 I didn't make a wish for myself.
01:20:59 I made it for you, Dad.
01:21:01 - You gave your wish up for me?
01:21:03 - I wish for you to find someone to love.
01:21:07 You take such good care of all of us.
01:21:09 I just wanted you to have someone take care of you, too.
01:21:13 Someone like Sarah.
01:21:15 - Abby, honey, I'm, it's just not that easy.
01:21:20 - Sure it is.
01:21:21 You like her, don't you?
01:21:24 - Well, yeah, but it's not--
01:21:25 - Did you ever tell her?
01:21:29 - Not so many words, no.
01:21:30 - There's still time, Dad.
01:21:33 I think you should tell her.
01:21:35 Go get dressed, go tell her, let's go.
01:21:38 - Okay, all right.
01:21:39 - The roads are closed at the center of the valley.
01:21:41 - I'll take the snowmobile.
01:21:43 Maybe not.
01:21:48 - Dad?
01:21:52 What is that?
01:21:54 - What is that?
01:21:58 (dramatic music)
01:22:01 - Whoa, what is this doing here?
01:22:03 Did you and Grandma do this?
01:22:04 - No, where did it come from?
01:22:08 - I don't know.
01:22:09 I'll go get Balthazar.
01:22:10 You coming?
01:22:11 - You bet.
01:22:12 - All right.
01:22:13 - My Christmas wish.
01:22:16 It is coming true.
01:22:17 (dramatic music)
01:22:20 - A couple of hours from now,
01:22:25 the place itself is on a beautiful beach.
01:22:27 - You know what, you go on ahead.
01:22:28 I'll meet you at the car.
01:22:30 - Don't be too long.
01:22:31 - I won't.
01:22:32 - Don't wanna miss the flight.
01:22:34 - Daddy?
01:22:34 I'm really sorry I didn't get a chance to tell you
01:22:39 about me and Tad, the engagement.
01:22:42 - That's okay, honey.
01:22:44 You know, the most important thing to me
01:22:45 is that you're happy.
01:22:48 You are happy, aren't you?
01:22:49 - Yeah.
01:22:50 About the job.
01:22:52 - Don't worry about the job.
01:22:53 I'll be there when you get back.
01:22:55 - That's the thing.
01:22:57 I don't want it to be.
01:22:59 - I don't understand.
01:23:00 - Vice President of Atmosphere.
01:23:02 You just did that to take care of me.
01:23:05 - Well, maybe a little, but I--
01:23:06 - And I love you for it.
01:23:07 And I'll always be your daughter.
01:23:10 I just, I need to find my own way.
01:23:13 I hope you're not angry.
01:23:14 - Angry?
01:23:15 No.
01:23:17 I don't think I've ever been more proud of you.
01:23:22 - Really?
01:23:23 - You promised your mother that I'd take care of you.
01:23:26 Well, looks like you're starting to take care of yourself.
01:23:30 - I love you, Dad.
01:23:34 - I love you too.
01:23:37 Your mother would be so proud of you.
01:23:39 - Thanks, Dad.
01:23:40 Okay.
01:23:44 All right.
01:23:48 (phone ringing)
01:23:52 - Merry Christmas, North Star Lodge.
01:23:55 Yes, this is the place.
01:23:57 For how many?
01:23:59 When?
01:24:00 (phone ringing)
01:24:01 May I place you on hold for a moment?
01:24:03 Thank you.
01:24:04 Merry Christmas, North Star Lodge.
01:24:07 Yes, this is the place where Sarah Belmont stayed.
01:24:11 Oh, yes.
01:24:12 For how many?
01:24:13 North Star Lodge?
01:24:18 Oh my goodness.
01:24:22 Can you hold, please?
01:24:24 - No, not the car.
01:24:25 Give it a ride.
01:24:26 Alejandra, hey.
01:24:30 - The phone is lighting up like Christmas.
01:24:32 - You're kidding.
01:24:33 - Jake?
01:24:34 You're so down.
01:24:36 - Can I get you anything?
01:24:42 - My jacket, maybe.
01:24:44 - Yeah, 'cause winter.
01:24:46 - Yeah.
01:24:47 - Like, okay.
01:24:51 - Sarah!
01:24:53 Ready to go, darling.
01:24:55 What are you doing?
01:25:01 - I'm sorry, Tad.
01:25:02 You're a great guy, but I'm just not ready for this yet.
01:25:06 I thought I was, but I'm not.
01:25:08 - Are you breaking up with me?
01:25:16 On Christmas Day?
01:25:18 - I know you, Tad.
01:25:20 You'll be okay by New Year's.
01:25:21 - Huh.
01:25:22 Do you mind if I post about this on my page?
01:25:28 My followers will love it.
01:25:30 Nothing like a breakup to really add to your numbers.
01:25:34 - Merry Christmas, Tad.
01:25:37 Good luck to you.
01:25:43 - I am so sorry, Mr. Fairchild.
01:25:51 - Oh, and at the holidays, too.
01:25:53 - Hey, Terry.
01:25:58 - Yep?
01:25:59 - What are you doing for New Year's?
01:26:02 - Are you okay to watch "Balthazar"?
01:26:12 - Of course.
01:26:13 You go find Sarah.
01:26:14 Wait!
01:26:14 Much better.
01:26:17 (dramatic music)
01:26:20 - Wait, wait, wait, wait!
01:26:24 Stop the car, don't move!
01:26:26 Hold on!
01:26:27 Look, can you just give me one second?
01:26:35 Look, okay, I know we barely know each other,
01:26:40 and you're probably gonna think I'm crazy for saying this,
01:26:46 but I can't let you leave without telling you
01:26:48 I'm falling in love with you.
01:26:50 Well, that's very flattering, but I have other plans.
01:26:58 Happy Christmas.
01:27:02 - Happy Christmas.
01:27:05 - Excuse me, son.
01:27:13 I believe what you're looking for is in the back courtyard.
01:27:17 - Sarah!
01:27:33 - Jake?
01:27:33 - I thought you were leaving.
01:27:41 - Uh, no, change of plans.
01:27:43 I'm staying here without Tad.
01:27:45 - You are?
01:27:46 - Uh-huh.
01:27:48 So, what are you doing here?
01:27:51 - Uh, I just wanted to say thank you.
01:27:57 I just found out the North Star is sold out
01:27:59 for the rest of the season.
01:28:00 - Really?
01:28:01 Hmm, sold out, huh?
01:28:03 Sounds like you might need some help running the place.
01:28:05 - That would be amazing.
01:28:07 - Well, my dad did also mention investing in the North Star,
01:28:10 but I didn't think you'd be interested.
01:28:12 - Right.
01:28:13 - I did say I would try to convince you over the holidays.
01:28:17 That is, if you wouldn't mind spending them with me.
01:28:21 - Well, you know what?
01:28:25 There is this holiday tradition,
01:28:27 but I bumped my head on the way over here
01:28:29 and for the life of me, I can't remember what it is.
01:28:31 (laughing)
01:28:32 It's, uh--
01:28:33 - Yeah, I think I can help you out with that.
01:28:37 - Oh.
01:28:39 (laughing)
01:28:41 - There they are.
01:28:52 - Sierra!
01:28:53 You didn't leave after all.
01:28:59 - What, um, what happened to Ted?
01:29:08 - Oh, it's Tad, Daddy, and, uh, wasn't meant to be.
01:29:12 - Happy you're here, Jake.
01:29:14 - Miss you, Mr. Belmont.
01:29:17 What a Christmas, guys.
01:29:18 - Yeah, it's one I'll never forget.
01:29:21 (dramatic music)
01:29:24 (dramatic music)
01:29:27 - Tad, I told you, at least in the lobby, where are--
01:29:49 - Oh my God.
01:29:52 - Oh, shit.
01:29:53 (laughing)
01:29:56 - I'm so sorry, I didn't see you there.
01:30:00 - It's chaos.
01:30:01 - Nothing.
01:30:02 - We're rolling.
01:30:04 - Let's go!
01:30:10 - Come on, we're leaving the skis up here.
01:30:11 - That's not gonna happen.
01:30:13 - Yeah, I know.
01:30:14 - You played a Christmas wish without me?
01:30:21 - It's so beautiful.
01:30:23 Why didn't you put it on the tree?
01:30:24 - Undasher, undancer.
01:30:26 (laughing)
01:30:29 (upbeat music)
01:30:33 - Giddy up!
01:30:41 - Ted, it's not fully activated.
01:30:43 Get me off this thing, you're ridiculous.
01:30:46 - Un, go.
01:30:50 (screaming)
01:30:52 - Ow.
01:30:53 - No, my hands.
01:30:57 - What's your name, see here?
01:30:59 - Ralph.
01:31:00 (laughing)
01:31:02 - What?
01:31:04 - Sorry.
01:31:05 (laughing)
01:31:08 - I'm not used to seeing women here, so much.
01:31:14 - Reindeer!
01:31:15 (laughing)
01:31:18 - We landed on the moon!
01:31:20 - Oh, I know, I know.
01:31:23 - You're off key, you're off key, okay?
01:31:26 - I'm kidding.
01:31:27 - I think you need to be more polite, darling.
01:31:33 More polite.
01:31:34 - Ted!
01:31:35 (laughing)
01:31:37 - Give me one more because I can't stop laughing right now.
01:31:43 - Not funny.
01:31:46 - We're gonna get so many partiers.
01:31:49 (upbeat music)
01:31:52 - I'm New Year's Eve, Christmas Eve.
01:31:58 (laughing)
01:32:00 - Do I have anything on my nose?
01:32:02 - Nothing's gonna get killed.
01:32:05 (laughing)
01:32:07 - I don't know how that happens.
01:32:08 - All you have to go is just go up there
01:32:10 and show your heart.
01:32:11 - What am I doing?
01:32:13 - Run by me.
01:32:14 (screaming)
01:32:17 - Would you please tell that large, muscular man behind me
01:32:20 to quit stealing my close-up.
01:32:22 - Excuse me, sir.
01:32:26 (laughing)
