00:00 After a week of detention, SMNI host Lorraine Badoy and her brother Eric Celis were released.

00:06 According to the House Committee on Legislative Franchises,

00:09 they released Badoy and Celis for humanitarian reasons, especially for Christmas.

00:14 On December 5, Badoy was cited in contempt for lying about his share in the income and being a producer in SMNI,

00:24 while Celis was cited in contempt for lying about the 1.8 billion peso travel fund of House Speaker Martin Romualdez.

00:33 The committee continued to listen to the SMNI's allegations of their franchise.

00:38 If necessary, Badoy and Celis will be called again even if they are released.

00:44 Meanwhile, the committee also referred to the Constitutional Court to restore the franchise of SMNI.
