00:50 We've come down here for a bit of fun today.
00:52 Tell us a bit about your fantastic business though, you've been in Eccleshaw for quite
00:54 a long time haven't you?
00:55 It was started by my father-in-law nearly 50 years ago now.
01:01 Started off as a small market garden and then he progressed it to a garden centre and then
01:06 my husband took it on from there and has expanded it to what it is today.
01:12 So it's not just a garden centre, we've got a restaurant, we've got a crazy golf, we host
01:18 the wildlife centre here as well.
01:20 So there's loads of stuff for every age to do when they get here to be honest.
01:26 Brilliant, plenty for us to get stuck into.
01:28 Let's try a bit of crazy golf.
01:31 Absolutely amazing value, crazy golf at Fletcher's is only £1.50 per player, so while we're
01:36 here it would be rude not to have a bit of a putt.
01:40 I haven't brought my A-game today.

02:08 As Petra mentioned, Fletcher's is also home to the Gentleshaw Wildlife Centre.
02:12 Now all the animals are sleeping at the moment but we'll certainly remember this for our
02:15 next visit because admission, even for adults, is only £5.

02:20 Now while you are here at Fletcher's though, important to remember there's a fantastic
02:24 kiddies play park children can enjoy free of charge.

02:29 It is the season of course and it's worthwhile mentioning folks while we're here that Fletcher's
02:36 does offer a fantastic selection of Christmas gubbins.
02:39 So with just over a week left to go until the big day itself if you do find yourselves
02:43 in the area it could be well worth a visit to check some of the stuff out.
02:47 Well folks, after a vigorous game of crazy golf I've worked up quite an appetite so we've
02:52 decided to come down to the Little George, one of Echo Shoals fabulous eateries, to get
02:56 a bit of tuck up.
02:57 Now this place has got a fantastic menu on offer but as we're here in the morning I think
03:02 a breakfast sandwich and a lovely frothy coffee is definitely the way to go.

03:49 So to round up folks, we've had a fantastic day out in Echo Shoal at a really reasonable
03:56 rate.
03:57 We went and did a round of crazy golf at Fletcher's for £1.50 and now we've come down to the
04:01 Little George for a very nourishing bacon and sausage sandwich and a frothy latte, which
04:05 only cost £9.15 for the pair.
04:07 Meaning, altogether, within our £20 budget, we've only spent £10.65.
04:12 Don't forget, the option was always there for us to go to the Wildlife Centre at Fletcher's
04:16 for additional fibre, which would still have only brought us up to £15.65 for a fantastic
04:22 and well-rounded day out.
04:23 Don't know about you, but that sounds pretty good to me.
