A four-month-old baby survived after being sucked up into a tornado in a tornado in Clarksville, Tennessee. The tornado hit his family's mobile home on Saturday, December 9th, ripping off the roof and lifting the bassinet the baby was sleeping in. The baby's father tried to grab the bassinet but was also spun up into the tornado. According to the baby's mother, Sydney Moore, the father held onto the bassinet as they circled in the tornado and were eventually thrown. Moore was in another room with their one-year-old son when the walls collapsed. She managed to push them out from under the collapsed trailer. It took 10 minutes to find the four-month-old baby, who was ultimately found lying in a fallen tree in the rain. All family members survived with cuts and bruises but their home and belongings were a total loss.
