00:00 I mean, I don't mind it.
00:02 That's most teams approaching me anyway, trying to beat me up,
00:04 cuz you don't have a chance unless you're trying to muck the game up that way.
00:10 So I knew it was gonna be that type of game, and this was a big game for
00:14 the whole city.
00:15 They really wanted to come in and beat us, so
00:18 they really tried to come in and push us around, and we didn't back down.
00:21 So I know it got a little bit physical, but we came, we played through it,
00:26 made the right play, and let their physicality take us out and
00:29 stuff that we wanted to get into.
00:31 And at the end of the day, we came out with a W cuz we matched our physicality.
00:35 >> Your view of the last play there, Coach,
00:40 it just seemed like a mad scramble at the end of the game.
00:45 >> Yeah, I mean, I've been a part of a few of those.
00:49 [LAUGH] But you gotta get them to miss.
00:52 We didn't get the rebound.
00:53 We gotta do a better job getting the rebound off the foul shot.
00:56 But usually, what happens, there's a scramble and I get a ball and
00:59 something happens.
01:01 But you just gotta stay with it.
01:03 Sometimes the ball doesn't bounce your way.
01:05 And at the end, we were able to, it got all the way down to two or whatever.
01:09 You shot it, I think, with one second to go, maybe even less, and
01:12 it had to be a desperation.
01:14 So we were lucky to come out of it, but it wasn't perfect by any stretch of
01:19 the imagination, but sometimes the ball bounces your way and sometimes it doesn't.
01:23 >> It's not for you, for your finger roll to go in right at the end of regulation.
01:26 Just take me through, what were you basically just saying,
01:28 just get it up before the shot goes off?
01:30 Cuz you're backwards to the basket by the look of it from our side.
01:33 >> Yeah, I mean, when I passed it, I was still looking at the shot clock.
01:37 So I knew I had enough time.
01:39 So it might have seemed like it, but I knew that I had a chance to make it, or
01:43 at least I didn't just throw it up hoping it went in.
01:46 I had shot it like a normal layup, I just shot it a little quicker.
01:48 But yeah, I mean, that's just timing, scoring, awareness, and
01:52 Coach Hop trusted us in those situations to make the right play.
01:55 And got a decent look with a layup, got an offensive rebound,
01:59 laid it up, and send it to overtime.
