ਰਾਮ ਜਨਮ ਭੂਮੀ ਤੀਰਥ ਖੇਤਰ ਟਰੱਸਟ ਦੇ ਜਨਰਲ ਸਕੱਤਰ ਚੰਪਤ ਰਾਏ ਨੇ ਪੱਤਰਕਾਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਉਪ ਪ੍ਰਧਾਨ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਅਡਵਾਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਮਨੁੱਖੀ ਸਰੋਤ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਮੰਤਰੀ ਜੋਸ਼ੀ ਸਿਹਤ ਅਤੇ ਉਮਰ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੇ ਕਾਰਨਾਂ ਕਰ ਕੇ ਸਮਾਰੋਹ 'ਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੋ ਸਕਣ
‘‘ਦੋਵੇਂ (ਅਡਵਾਨੀ ਅਤੇ ਜੋਸ਼ੀ) ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਦੇ ਬਜ਼ੁਰਗ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਨੂੰ ਵੇਖਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਾ ਆਉਣ ਦੀ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਨੂੰ ਦੋਵਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਨਜ਼ੂਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਹੈ।’’ਅਡਵਾਨੀ ਹੁਣ 96 ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਹੋ ਗਏ ਹਨ ਜਦਕਿ ਜੋਸ਼ੀ ਅਗਲੇ ਮਹੀਨੇ 90 ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਹੋ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
