00:00 This year's been really good and I've seen a rise.
00:02 Everyone seems to be sending cards this year
00:06 and it's been really busy. It's been a great year.
00:09 I think people in Gray's End like sending cards.
00:12 The last few years have been reasonably quiet since lockdown
00:17 but it's been building and building and this year
00:20 I've definitely seen an increase in sales.
00:22 We get our usual amount of singular cards
00:26 but we've had to reorder because some have sold through
00:31 and the same with the box cards. We did our usual amount but we had to go back
00:35 and get some more and those have gone. People are coming in today
00:40 and I've had to... Certain designs, popular designs are all sold out
00:44 unfortunately. So both really good. It's been a good
00:48 year. Everyone's out. The shop's been full. Everyone's been in
00:52 good moods and it's been a lovely Christmas so far.
00:57 People are still buying them but I don't necessarily think they're putting them
01:00 through the post. I think they're giving them to people when they see
01:05 them rather than relying on the postal service.
01:07 They are still buying lots of cards. It's not, you know,
01:11 doom and gloom completely. It's just that it's diminished over the years
01:15 but we're still here. We're still really enjoying it. My husband and I own the
01:19 business. So yeah, onwards and upwards and we've
01:23 tweaked a few things in the shop with regard to
01:26 stocking different products, more gift range,
01:31 probably under about £25 price bracket just to increase sales really.
