00:00 Well some wet weather in California all week and now it is Southern California's
00:04 turn to get the heavier rain. We've had the heaviest rain across Los Angeles,
00:08 Santa Barbara and Ventura counties in the last 24 hours. San Diego you've been
00:13 mostly unscathed by the rain as most of the moisture. San Diego has been here
00:18 again from Los Angeles County towards Santa Barbara County but see you still
00:21 have this upper level low. Alright so one area of moisture peeling off to the
00:25 north but we have additional rounds of moisture you can count them one, two, three
00:30 around that upper low and watch where this upper low is going to be going here
00:34 as we go through the rest of today. Here we go as we move in tonight into
00:37 tomorrow morning that upper low continues its move to the east northeast
00:41 here and it goes right across Southern California late tonight and into our
00:46 Friday. Look at the rain that's going to be coming into Los Angeles a little bit
00:49 this afternoon but see here's the heaviest rain here tonight 11 o'clock
00:54 that rain area is going to be really heavy around San Diego, Los Angeles and
00:58 then it rotates in we're going to get some meaningful rains in the upper and
01:01 lower deserts of Southern California. They don't get a whole lot of rain
01:04 they're going to get quite a bit here as we get toward tonight tomorrow morning
01:08 and then look at the surge coming into Arizona around Phoenix and around Tucson
01:13 even toward Flagstaff where it's mostly going to be rain here as we head toward
01:17 tonight into tomorrow morning but the heaviest Southern California here in
01:21 Santa Barbara and Ventura County in the mountains here about 8 to 12 inches of
01:26 rain but even downtown Los Angeles LAX averages 2.33 we're going to get a solid
01:31 2 to 4 inches of rain here no doubt about that there can be some isolated
01:36 flooding and don't be surprised by the way if we're looking at some isolated
01:41 severe weather as thunderstorms around that upper low are possible as well.
