Looks like Cal made an upgrade with Ryan Coe
Transcript
00:00 Assuming that Ryan Coe is healthy, Cal looks to have made an upgrade as far as its place-kicking
00:06 situation. It still has Michael Luckhurst, at least for now, on the roster. But Coe gives
00:13 Cal a guy who's been really consistent over three years in college football play. Two
00:21 years at Delaware, which is an FCS school, and then 2022 at Cincinnati, where he was
00:27 quite good. Last year, he started out as North Carolina's kicker, but got hurt, and then
00:34 the guy who replaced him was really good. And so it seems like he wouldn't have any
00:40 chance to be the Tar Heels kicker next year. But that was in the ACC, and next year he'll
00:46 be in the ACC again. Cal will be in the ACC for the first time, starting in 2024, so he
00:53 will know the teams that he will be competing against in large measure, although that matters
00:58 very little as far as a kicker is concerned. So presumably Cal's got a pretty good kicker
01:05 on hand now.
