00:05 the fireworks are being prepared by our fellow Filipinos.
00:07 From the fireworks capital of the Philippines,
00:09 we have a live on-the-spot report from Marisol Abduraman.
00:11 Marisol!
00:13 Raffy, Christmas is almost over.
00:19 And right now, on Christmas Day,
00:22 some of our fellow Filipinos went to Bukhawi, Bulacan
00:26 to buy fireworks for the New Year celebrations.
00:30 Here at the fireworks store in Bukhawi, Raffy, some of our fellow Filipinos went there this Christmas.
00:36 They wanted to go to a place with a lower price for fireworks.
00:40 According to the store owner, the prices of their fireworks will increase starting tomorrow.
00:46 The seller said that the prices are still stable.
00:49 So, it means that the prices of their fireworks will remain the same throughout the year.
00:57 But some said that they cannot say for now, Raffy, if the prices will increase.
01:01 Although, what they are saying is that the prices of their fireworks will increase
01:08 when the New Year is near.
01:10 That's why some of our fellow Filipinos went to Bulacan.
01:14 Some of them we talked to are from Bataan.
01:17 They insisted on going here because they heard that the fireworks here are cheaper compared to Bulacan.
01:25 And they also heard that the prices here are cheaper compared to the days that will come.
01:32 You know, Raffy, it's also worth noting that although some of them are coming,
01:38 it's still reasonable, Raffy, because it's understandable, it's Christmas.
01:41 But it's just funny that the viewers are saying that they didn't expect that there will be people coming this day.
01:49 But at least, some of us Filipinos are going here.
01:53 The good thing here, Raffy, is that they are open 24 hours until the New Year.
01:58 And of course, they are still keeping their reminders that they should not do when they are here.
02:03 Just like, of course, smoking is prohibited here, testing is also prohibited.
02:08 And also, Raffy, they will have drums ready here if ever they need them.
02:15 Although, we hope so, not really, because they are really reminding them all year round
02:20 what precautions to take.
02:23 Raffy.
02:23 Thank you very much, Marisol Abdurrahman.
