00:00 Kevin, dramatic ending there, Kerry Cole's 90th minute penalty, ceiling a 2-1 win, thoughts on that today?
00:07 I'm pleased. Listen, it's been a tough couple of weeks for me, but listen, this group, they stick with me, they help me through things, and this is what we have football for, and it's just massive for us to finish the year like that.
00:25 The form we've been in is really, really pleasing. The new lads have come on today as well and made a difference, impacted the game. I just couldn't be more pleased at the minute.
00:34 It just keeps the red run going now, nine wins out of 11 now.
00:37 It doesn't matter where you are, what standard you're playing at, that's a good set of results, whatever level you're at. We've just got to keep building, keep trying to improve. We've changed things a little bit today.
00:52 I'll say to you, we don't really worry about people who are injured, but we've actually officially got 10 people injured that have made regular starts for the first team this season. So, to be doing it in amongst that sort of thing to deal with is pretty good for us.
01:07 And the group are coming through a lot of challenges, all the injuries, they're having to come through, going behind today, coming back, they had to overcome some decisions in the second half, disallowed goals, head coach Roland.
01:20 Yes, with it being recorded I probably won't say too much in terms of what the thoughts are, but from a team and squad point of view, we've done really well, especially with a couple of controversial things.
01:33 I mean, there's a goal being disallowed for not really sure what, but let's just move on and not worry about it.
01:42 I think these four difficult days are the ones to work the stats on.
01:47 Good reaction to going behind?
01:50 I said to you before, the one thing we do, we stay in the game. If we do go behind and we don't start well, we do stay in the game and then we get goals at important times.
01:58 I think we'll probably find that when we have gone behind, we've scored three or four times now, five or six minutes before half-time, which goes and makes it really an easier conversation.
02:07 If you're only one deal down, it's a little bit more difficult. You've got to find ways of breaking teams down.
02:13 When you're back in the game, you sort of approach it again in the same manner you would do from the start of the game.
02:18 It's just about intensity for us. When we can get high levels of intensity, then we are good.
02:23 As you said, that was a really important time to get that equaliser, wasn't it? It just makes that half-time message.
02:28 It's just, again, believing in what we're doing. We set up in a way that we thought would work and suited the people that we had available to us.
02:37 Then we had to change it five or ten minutes in. This group, they don't look at me and go, 'What are you doing? Why are you changing?'
02:44 They just buy into it. It just makes my job easier.
02:48 Obviously, the same thing, you had to readjust tactically for that and got through that spell and then get the penalty.
02:55 We've had Simbins sending off throughout this season, which is not good from our side.
03:03 But again, the Simbins come after a reckless challenge that got a yellow and there were six or seven other yellows in the game.
03:12 If that was the same punishment as what some of the others were, then I'm surprised at it.
03:18 But it is what it is. I don't know what Jamie said or done, but the referees responded to it.
03:24 He responded to me. He couldn't wait to get a booking out for me.
03:28 Then he wasn't even answering when we were asking how many minutes left for the Simbin, which made it really difficult because we'd already regrouped and reshaped.
03:35 We need to get the player warm and then work out what we're going to do. He just wouldn't let us know.
03:40 Then straight away, he just waves him on and you're like, 'That doesn't help.' I think that's really poor.
03:45 We've dealt with that situation and it's three points that sort of matters.
03:49 And Perry sticks it away comfortably, the penalty never in doubt there?
03:52 Listen, if there's a pressure penalty, it's that.
03:55 It won all at home, last game coming into the end of the year at home.
04:00 He didn't even look fazed by it. I don't think anyone doubted he was going to score that.
