00:09 For the existing cooperation between two brother countries,
00:13 Tanzania and Rwanda, as you said,
00:17 Tanzania and Rwanda have been friends for quite a long time,
00:21 even before independence.
00:23 It's because of the nature of the people.
00:27 They are brothers and sisters.
00:30 We could see people crossing by that time to go to Tanzania,
00:34 others going to Rwanda, just for social interactions
00:38 and whatever.
00:39 So our task is very easy.
00:42 Just to make sure we strengthen the existing cooperation
00:46 and look at other areas of cooperation
00:48 so that the people should benefit from each other.
00:51 My focus, of course, is wide.
00:54 But we have to look at the interactions among our people.
00:59 We understand Rwanda is a business partner with Tanzania
01:05 because Tanzania is connected to the Indian Ocean.
01:08 And we have the Ressam port and Tanga port,
01:11 which of course saves all the goods that comes in Rwanda.
01:15 So our role is to make sure we smoothen
01:19 the business between these two countries
01:22 and look at the challenges that are facing the business community.
01:26 We minimize them.
01:29 And of course, from Ressam to Kigali,
01:32 for the trucks, it takes two rungs.
01:34 You understand the nature of the roads and whatever.
01:38 So in the near future, it's to look at how to simplify the movement
01:43 by either a railway line, which of course is cheaper
01:46 for the transporters and the final consumer.
