00:03 - Well, they're gonna need a balanced approach,
00:05 but what they've said that they're going to do,
00:07 they talked about this a little bit
00:09 in some of the pregame shows,
00:10 is the Chiefs wanna simplify the offense.
00:12 They're gonna remove certain plays,
00:14 they're gonna remove certain schemes,
00:16 maybe some personnel groupings,
00:17 and look to go with what is working the best
00:20 and just focus in on that.
00:22 We'll see if they actually do that
00:23 and are able to execute it.
00:25 This Cincinnati Bengals defense, as you alluded to,
00:28 has not been nearly as good
00:30 as defenses of the Bengals in the past.
00:32 However, they do have Lou Anarumo.
00:34 For instance, I was looking at this game,
00:36 I saw Patrick Mahomes.
00:37 What has he been doing of late when he has struggled?
00:40 He's run the ball, right?
00:41 He's tucked the ball, just run it,
00:42 just look for options.
00:43 Last week, I think he had 54 yards rushing.
00:46 So I was contemplating the rushing prop
00:48 for Patrick Mahomes in this spot,
00:50 but he's rushed for single digits against Lou Anarumo
00:53 the past two times that they've played him.
00:55 Lou has tried to take away that aspect.
00:57 So although the Bengals defense is limited
01:00 from a personnel perspective,
01:01 will he still spy and/or focus on limiting
01:05 the upside of Patrick Mahomes' legs in this matchup?
01:08 That's to be determined,
01:09 so I didn't end up taking that prop.
01:11 But I do think this game's going to be
01:12 a fascinating cat and mouse battle.
01:15 I think the Cincinnati Bengals
01:16 should struggle to score points.
01:18 Anytime that an offense is struggling,
01:20 like the Kansas City Chiefs is,
01:22 and you've got Steve Spagnuolo
01:23 on the other side of the ball,
01:25 he has got to take it upon himself
01:27 and his side of the football
01:28 to come out here and slow down a backup quarterback
01:31 for the Cincinnati Bengals
01:32 and limit the upside of that offense
01:34 to give the Chiefs a little bit of help
01:36 on the offensive side of the ball.
01:38 We'll see if they end up doing that,
01:39 but I would be surprised if the Kansas City Chiefs
01:42 do not come out here with a very focused
01:44 defensive effort in this one.
