00:00 >> How far is home from here?
00:02 >> Three hours.
00:03 >> Are you familiar with this place?
00:05 >> New Orleans, yeah.
00:07 I came down here as a kid, growing up.
00:09 So they had actually some of the good food spots and stuff.
00:13 So I had told them some good food spots.
00:16 >> Have you been in the stadium before?
00:18 >> Yeah, I've been to a couple games growing up as a kid.
00:22 >> You've been to, did you play in here?
00:24 >> No, I watched the Saints growing up.
00:27 >> I mean, you're a long ways from Seattle.
00:29 Tell me a little bit about how you get connected with Seattle from all the way
00:33 down here.
00:34 >> Like how did I find out about- >> You find out about Washington and
00:37 how'd they find out about you and going that far away from home?
00:41 >> Coach Juice had reached out to my high school coach cuz they was
00:45 best friends growing up, so that connection.
00:49 And then I just learned more about it and I just fell in love about it.
00:51 And then I always just wanted to really just go far away for college and
00:57 just experience something new.
00:59 And me going to the West Coast, I think that was the best thing for me.
01:03 Cuz just me as a person, just seeing new opportunities, new things.
01:09 It just sparked different plugs that I didn't even know about.
01:14 I need to figure out about different things.
01:17 >> How's your first season gone?
01:18 >> Honestly, this year, just me learning a lot.
01:21 It was, well, that was the biggest thing for me.
01:23 I learned so much.
01:25 And I just think that I've been getting better day by day.
01:28 So whenever the opportunity comes, it comes.
01:30 >> Food wise, what do you miss?
01:33 What have you looked for in Seattle you haven't been able to find?
01:36 >> Seasoned food.
01:36 >> [LAUGH] >> We're looking for you and
01:39 the whole team shouts out your name.
01:41 Seems like you're fitting in okay.
01:42 >> Yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure.
01:44 These boys, man, they're like my brothers now.
01:47 When I first came to Seattle, I was more of the quiet person.
01:52 But now I didn't open up with them a lot.
01:55 I truly feel like at home.
01:59 >> So you're surprised you go all the way out to Seattle and
02:01 now you're back home to play.
02:03 That's kind of bizarre.
02:04 I mean, you're the one Louisiana guy on this team.
02:06 >> Yeah, because the crazy thing is I found out about it, I was asleep.
02:10 And my dad had called me and he was like that we're gonna be playing in New Orleans.
02:16 And I didn't know myself.
02:18 So when I found out, that just made my day.
