00:17 the capture fisheries, aquaculture, and post-harvest stages for the fishermen.

00:24 It is a modern facility where they can make bigger fishing boats.

00:31 This is why more fish are caught.

00:34 The BFAR has also produced almost 300 million fingerlings

00:38 to ensure the food security of the country.

00:42 Now, 2024, the implementation of the Philippine Fisheries and Coast Resiliency Project is expected.

00:51 President Marcos Jr. approved it.

00:55 This project is worth Php 11 billion.

01:01 We will implement it this year.

01:04 Its direction is to diversify the livelihoods of our fishermen.

01:11 We will build infrastructures such as cold storage facilities

01:18 and of course, climate resilient technologies.

01:22 This will benefit more than a million fishermen in 24 provinces and 11 regions.
