00:00 Taguig City Hall has decided to close the health centers in barangays that according to the Supreme Court, are already full.

00:10 But Makati said that Taguig did not do anything even though they know the requirements for the services of the centers.

00:18 And Dano Tingcunco was the one who was affected.

00:20 The concern of the cancer patient and resident of Barangay Rizal, Nerymi Lopez, is high.

00:29 She doesn't have a visa or yellow card for the healthcare benefits from Makati.

00:33 Because her barangay is one of the 10 Embo barangays that is under Taguig.

00:39 I was surprised because my chemo is every 21 days.

00:42 And my medicine is Trastuzumab, it's 80,000.

00:46 But my total bill for every chemo is 121,000.

00:50 It's just chemo, the laboratory is not included yet.

00:52 The CT scans, ultrasound, it's not included yet.

00:57 But even though our bill is high, we only pay 500.

01:03 Because of the non-fun expenses, she hopes that the local government of Taguig can help her with her medicine.

01:15 The Makati City Government announced that the yellow card and blue card that are giving benefits to senior citizens are no longer valid.

01:24 This also added that Makati's health centers are now closed to the 10 Embo barangays because their permit to operate is expired.

01:32 But in an article, the Taguig City Government said that the health centers don't need a license to operate to remain open.

01:39 This also added that Makati should ask the Embo residents to stop Taguig from operating after the Supreme Court's decision.

01:49 Makati City Administrator Claros Certeza was surprised by the accusation of Taguig for closing.

01:54 Taguig has long known that the health centers will be closed before Makati LGU announced it.

02:00 Taguig also knows that the health centers that provide diagnostic services need a license to operate but Taguig did nothing.

02:12 Taguig LGU announced that residents can go to the health centers and also the teleconsult numbers for each barangay.

02:21 Those who need a dialysis session can also go to Taguig City Dialysis Center in Barangay North Signal.
