00:00 I guess, what are your thoughts on how the Charlotte Hornets' new ownership
00:03 will potentially affect Charlotte's approach at the trade deadline?
00:07 Well, I think, I don't know how much it's going to affect the deadline. This is what I would say,
00:14 guys. Coming into the year, my own observation and from within the organization, they thought
00:21 they had one of the most talented rashes they've had in a while. On paper, I would agree with that.
00:25 We said the same thing in preseason as well. Yeah, we agree.
00:30 However, it is not translated to wins, which is always the bottom line. And so,
00:35 with new ownership coming in, I do expect there to be changes within the front office and
00:41 potentially, if you're going to change the front office, certainly that would include coaching as
00:47 well after the season. As far as the timing on that, I don't necessarily think you need to make
00:54 a move before the deadline if you're not going to make any significant changes to the roster.
00:59 You know, we'll get into the roster and who's got value and whatnot. But the bigger thing I think
01:08 people are curious of around the league from other executives and coaches I talk to is, will there be
01:14 more of an appetite for spending in Charlotte now that they've changed ownership at this point
01:21 officially? And like I said, looking at the record for the team, the Mitch Kupchak era
01:29 has not resulted in any playoff wins. There have been play-in trips, but not any advancement after
01:37 that. So, many around the league are expecting a little bit of a reshuffling of the deck there
01:44 when it comes to the front office and then likely the coaching staff after that.
