00:32 nor whitewash its grime while leaving the old and rotten still there.
00:37 We do not want a river that is instantly made picturesque by coats of paint.
00:42 We want a river whose transformation sinks to its very bottom.
00:47 Executive Order 35 was issued last year for the rehabilitation of Pasig River
00:53 and make it a hub for transportation and tourism, and to help the economy.
00:59 This promenade is not only a promenade, it is a functional walkway.

01:13 Within three years, the project will be completed and will connect Manila Bay and Laguna de Bay,

01:27 According to the Executive Order, the P18 billion fund for the project will come from the private sector

01:35 First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos is leading the fundraising for this project.
