00:00 After losing a ton of talented players to the NFL draft following their college football
00:04 playoff season, the Texas Longhorns are continuing to thrive in landing talent out of the transfer
00:10 portal.
00:11 After landing the highly sought-after pass rusher in Trey Moore and Matthew Golden plus
00:17 the Alabama hero in Isaiah Bond, the Longhorns are not close to being done.
00:23 The newest commit includes former Crimson Tide linebacker Kendrick Blackshire and former
00:28 Oregon State wide receiver Silas Bolden.
00:31 In Blackshire's three seasons in T-Town, he saw most of his action on special teams, but
00:35 did rotate in as linebacker, totaling 25 tackles, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
00:42 Bolden comes to Austin finishing this year as a beaver with 54 catches for 746 yards
00:48 and 5 receiving touchdowns, while averaging 13.8 yards per catch.
00:52 He also added two rushing scorers and returned a punt for a touchdown.
00:56 The Longhorns begin their life as members of the SEC come August 31st as they take on
01:02 Colorado State to open up the 2024 season.
